After nearly a month of trying to install dual retractable screen doors, I finally returned both doors to Home Depot.
First, there was a missing bracket gasket. I had to wait several days for the gasket to be shipped.
One of the doors wouldn't slide easily. The screen would bind and rip at the edges. After several days of trying to troubleshoot, I finally noticed that the sill gasket slot was narrower than the others. I called to get a replacement, but the company charged me $45 for the silk/too rail kit with shipping.
After waiting for these parts to arrive, the next problem encountered was that one door would not engage the counter balance string in the dual end cap. Defective end caps and defective connector on the bracket. I requested replacement parts that never arrived. Quite a miserable experience.

Door was advertised to fit inside or ouside door opening. I needed it to fit inside but there were no instructions for that top of installation. My handyman, who can install anything, could not figure out how to install. Returned the door.
Would recommend if you need outside installation

A little tricky to install. Didn't last long. It won't retract anymore. It's 2 years old in mild climate.

I am a general contractor and found the instructions poor & the product very poor. I installed one of these last year and found it to be marginal. Then this week tried to do a double door install. nly one door could latch at a time because the doors wouldn't catch until it was past the middle causing thus causing the first one to unlatch. Final straw, one door slammed back, came out of the mounting plate fell over and broke the plastic base. Uninstall both & am returning.
Please do not buy. Too many issues especially for a homeowner.

Broken out of the box. Didn't snap together advertised. Screen fell out of the track both top and bottom. Flimsy.

Don't know where to start this is such a terrible X! I had to cut 1" off my sill plate to fit this one, had to cut the details off my vertical trim to fit the mounting plate, The housing with the screen keeps falling off, the Torx bit stripped and stripped a screw after 5 screws, the screen will not retract and the top guide fell off the screw. It is a flimsy piece of junk. I spent over 2 hours fitting it and trying to make it work, but the fact it will not retract and the screen housing keeps falling off makes it useless. Do not waste your money.
