Rated 5 out of 5Â by HandyBill watch the video for installation instructions
Make sure to watch the video on the website as it explains the installation much better than the included instructions. I followed the instructions and did the installation in about an hour. works as exactly as claimed. Very happy with the product. Have wanted one for years and now love it.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by HomeRepairGrrl Worst retractable screen door on the market
It's quite possible that this is the very worst retractable screen door ever designed.
The traction mechanism relies on a spring similar a rolling blind, which you must tighten to just the right tension in order to get it to retract. To hold it closed, there are end caps on the tracks that catch onto little buttons on the top and bottom of the sliding bar. There are also little plastic buttons attached to the screen at the top and bottom of the length of the screen.
This was broken when I bought it. When I finally got the replacement parts and installed the door (which took much longer than it should, due to the laughably awful and even incorrect in places instructions - I had to switch between the double door and single door instructions to get the correct installation on a single door), I noticed the top and bottom of the screen were torn away slightly from the door handle. I tried to repair them but the way the screen is attached to the sliding bar makes it impossible. Their marketing videos show a nice, smooth sliding door, but in reality, unless you grab the slider bar at just the right height and angle, with just the right pressure, the whole thing will get unstable and you'll have to recoil the screen manually or else fight with the door to get it opened/closed. You also have to do it at just the right speed, or else the screen will bunch up. Within a day one of the plastic buttons that keeps the screen in the track had ripped off. I installed it according to instructions, used a level, did everything right according to the instructions, but that cannot overcome a poor design. I had to coil the spring every day on the days that it was working.
WIthin three days, the part that is supposed to catch at the top and bottom got stuck on the bottom, and in trying to get it unstuck, I didn't even pull very hard, and the whole bottom of the slider bar fell into pieces and the bottom of the screen ripped about six inches. There is no way to repair the screen. It's now essentially a very expensive piece of junk.
If you're going to get a retractable screen door, try the magnet versions before you try this one. Just don't bother with this. Even those cheap double flap screen doors are better than this.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by nsdub Roll up screen is worthless
Spent 3+ hours installing this thing (watch the videos online, don't try reading the instructions). Once we got it setup, we tried extending and rolling up the screen. On the 2nd or 3rd roll back, the screen started to bunch up instead of rolling up nicely. Basically there are attachment points at the screen edge but only every foot or so. The screen in between bunches up.
Not useful at all.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by PoorChoice Exceptionally poor written instructions!!!
While this maybe a decent product, it will only take critical error to make it $150.00 pile of trash. The written directions are missing much in the way of valuable information. They rely heavily on a very low quality grainy gray and white image to provide the missing information. I had been told that this product was harder to install by the Home Depot Rep. I wished that I had listen to them and purchase the cheaper model. For once it is cut you have bought it and there is no return. You simply are left with buying the part again, and praying you do not make the same mistake twice. The instructions are specific about measuring twice and cutting once. However, it does not tell you to subtract the length of the "Track End-caps" from the measure before cutting. If you do not do this your cut will be 1.25" short.
Bottom Line: buy the cheaper model so that at least you will not be wasting as much money.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by john Don't Buy This Screen
Like several other reviews, I had trouble retracting the screen once I had it installed. I took it apart only to find the torsion spring wasn't connected to the end sprocket...it was just floating around loose inside the screen rollup collector mechanism. It's going back today... I just wish I could charge them for the time I spent on this piece of junk.
