Answer:
It doesn't use your router, it is self contained. So no Ethernet. Each camera needs their own AC power, so does the control panel. The control panel has a battery, but it is just for keeping the settings in case of the disconnect or moving it from one area to another.

Answer:
No, this display is a bit flimsy. and made with a kick stand. You could probably get some to incase it into, but a mount would not work on this unit.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works as described. Purchased this camera/DRV system for our home. Works as described. Easy to set up. Follow the instructions. Check signal prior to permanently placing cameras. It does the job for us, and will probably order additional cameras for the system in the future. October 11, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Security camera This would not work well at all.The monitor would come on and then turn off. Returned. October 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by True DIY Product Not sure why so many negative feedback on here. This system isn't the greatest but it does the job. Night Vision, audio and wireless transmission have never been a problem for me and it was so easy to install that i did it my self. Didn't need to hire anyone. "True DIY Product" Tech support has always been helpful and are always wiling to take the time to show me what I am doing wrong and walked me through some of the features that may be beneficial to my application. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by worked for about 4 months Turned off camera # 1 and it will not reconnect even after going through the pairing process. So I decided to see if it was perhaps the camera that might be bad, and tried to turn camera # 2 off, then back on. Lost camera # 2 also. Have unplugged and plugged in and out, off & on etc... Antennae's in place, pushed the pairing button on the cam several times within 10 secs, and 5 ft away. It worked very well when it worked. Any ideas SecurityMan dudes? Or am I out a weeks pay? Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by no photos at the beginning it took lots of photos. now the photo folder is always empty April 5, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not capturing people on the video or pictures We have two cameras set up and they are fantastic at catching every set of headlights that goes by our house. But, the cameras are not capturing any people. We have stood in front of the camera and it does not take our photo. It is not much help if it does not sense people. February 15, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No Service When you see a bad review on them, their is usually a response from Securityman saying that The customer could call tech support. I tried that & was greeted by an answering machine message so scratchy that I could not understated it. I believe it was giving hours to call but am not sure. I also sent 3 email messages with no response. My questions were simple but if not answered I am going to return product to Home Depot & go to anther manuyfacturer. March 21, 2016
