That was and unexpected twist which makes it difficult to open. The safe box has holes that are not required for mounting. This makes the safe less fire proof. Just two unwanted details that are negative for storing valued items.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good, but not very secure. This product is good for keeping small items locked up and kept secure from kids/visitors, etc. However, it's really easy to open with common tools, so make sure it's well hidden if your intent is protection from burglars. I found this out when my wife lost the key, and a locksmith wanted $100+ to open it. I decided to give it a try myself, and it took less than 60 seconds to pry the door open a bit with a flathead screwdriver and then pop the door with a claw hammer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product Installed easily per included instructions. My only disappointment is that BOTH combination and key are required to open. I would have preferred combination OR key. Also combination is not adjustable, and therefore hard to remember.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Value Everything you want in a $100 wall safe. I was pleasantly surprised. The safe came with simple, straight forward installation instructions, including a paper template to tape to the wall for marking. Make sure you know exactly where your studs are and watch out for electrical wires. My only complaint is that you cannot change the combination. Other than that, it's a great value and works just like it should.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sentry In-Wall Safe This is an excellent product. Great for storing smaller items such as money, passports and other valuables. The combo mechanism does take up some space in order to close the door, but other then that it serves it's purpose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wall Safe The safe was shipped and delivered promptly. It was relatively easy to install and works just fine. It is hidden in a closet wall behind the clothes that are hanging. This safe is just what we needed.
