Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good choice i had bought this one for someone, i own a previous version where the front digital pad twist to replace the batteries. This is a lot easier to replace the batteries and has a lot more room to store items. Good compartmentalization inside. i may have to buy another for myself September 15, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Digital safe Safe is great only problem was attaching it to floor hole were to close to door, could not shut door using large nut and anchor bolt" July 28, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by just right Safe seems well made and a good value compared to others I have seen for comparable price. Just what I needed. March 24, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Big, heavy, secure This safe is HEAVY. Nobody's going to run off with it quickly or easily. Also, the bolts are huge. Overkill really. I like that it's fire-proof, but wish that it were also waterproof. That model was an additional $40. I plan to stow valuables and papers inside ziplock baggies, and $40 will buy more ziplock baggies than I'll ever need. In summary, this is a safe purchase. March 3, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good product. Good product, for store important document, you get what you paid for. March 25, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Avoid the electronic lock at all costs When this safe was first purchased, it worked fine. After a while, however, the electronic lock would not open the safe. The 'unlock icon' would come on but the handle couldn't be budged. I called the customer support line and the operator told me "Oh, this happens all the time. The solenoid gets stuck and the safe won't open. She said "All you have to do is enter your code and when the 'unlocked' icon shows, hit the upper right corner of the door hard with a hammer and quickly try the handle again." I'm going to replace it with a simple combination lock safe. May 2, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Would not recommend electronic lock. This was a nice safe when it worked correctly. However, after about 6 months, I would enter the factory pass-code onto the electronic keypad and the error light would flash 5 times with 5 beeps and the door would fail to unlock. It then began working again after a month and then stopped working again shortly thereafter; at which point I had to break into the safe to retrieve my valuables (checkbook, keys, etc.) The next safe I buy will have a combination lock or a lock with a key. Please research this problem before purchasing this safe. Thank you and good luck! July 20, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Looks Good-But The handle is hard to operate and needs a lot of strength. The 4 seconds time between punching in the code and operating the handle is too short. Was disappointed to read in the literature that if I bolt it to the floor the water proof feature does not work. Buying a fireproof safe that is not water proof is counterproductive...assuming that when there is a fire water will be used to douse it! This was not mentioned in the product description. Have not encountered any other problems...yet January 28, 2014
