Answer:
No wheels. This unit is very heavy and is constructed of multiple poles screwed together. This unit is to be secured to the wall. If it tipped over it could cause injury and damage. I use mine in the garage for hanging out of season coats and the shelves for bins for odds and ends. I love it so much I kept my instructions and when I moved I disassembled it to bring to my new home.

Answer:
I would say yes. If you only use 1 bar, I would not put all the way to the top. You can also anchor it to the wall, straps and nylon anchors with screws are included.

Yes, you don't need to include either bar and leaving out won't affect it's function

Is it possible to leave out some of the shelves?

I'd like to have more room for at least one of the hanger rods so I would like to remove at least one row of shelves and extend the top hanging rod to connect to the outer vertical bars instead of the inner vertical bars as shown in picture which should reclaim 28 inches to hang stuff from since the shelves are 14 inches wide each. Is that possible or does the system need all of the shelves for support?

Answer:
Since the support poles of the unit come in pieces, and the pieces screw together, I would say the shelves are needed for support of the structure. You have some flexibility in the spacing of the shelves but I would not eliminate any of the shelves. This unit is very heavy and must be secured to the wall for safety.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Better than I expected! I love the new closet organizer. Not only is stronger than what I thought but it was easy enough to assemble. My 13 year old son did it by himself in a couple of hours. August 30, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Super satisfied This is my third closet system. We move a lot and the other two were built in. This has the same sturdy quality as a built in but is freestanding. I'm super satisfied with this. August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Organizing Unit ever It was easy to put together. It took my Husband and I to do this in less then 1 hr. from Box to Closet. Thank Seville for making one of the best organizers ever. I do recommend this to anyone who needs to organize their lives. August 2, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Expandable clothing storage Easy to assembly and sturdy. Used as mobile racks for turning a small bedroom into a dressing room. June 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I love my new closet!!! This closet organizer was purchased to replace an older closet rod that had pulled from the walls. Rather than use that type again I wanted something freestanding, easy to put together, and reasonably priced. This closet organizer was just the thing. I had a little bit of trouble getting it into the closet after it was assembled but removing the closet doors and adjusting the length of the rods let me get it in by myself. I'm enjoying all the room this piece offers. I was even able to add a small free-standing wooden unit with pull out bins under the bottom rod to hold small items since I'm don't have a dresser.
