Answer:
Hello,
Sevin will not repel squirrels. A lawn and garden specialist at your local Home Depot will be able to help you find an animal repellent that will keep the squirrels away.

Answer:
Hello,
Sevin does have a milky white appearance and has a clay base. It should not be sprayed on the outside of homes. There is a stain warning in the application directions. It should only be use on plants, bushes, and trees.
Thank you

I used regular hose water on my newly planted roses, which the chlorine in city water will cause yellow spot. I would like to spray my roses. I have always used Sevin Dust, but bought this for the convenience of the sprayer.

Sevin is an insecticide, not a fungicide. Sevin also exclusively targets bugs that chew on the leaves of plants. Sevin will not kill aphids and whitefly, both of which commonly attack roses.
We have ready to use fungicides to control plant diseases, like black spot, powdery mildew and rust.

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 43 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Good insecticide, bad packaging I like that Sevin isn't a neonicotinoid based poison and washes off fairly quickly. However having two bottles go bad in a row, I'm not sure I'll buy it again. The sprayer on my first bottle failed within a week. The replacement bottle I got stopped spraying unless held perfectly level. June 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SELVIN GREAT FOR ROACHES! Nothing works better! Spray around your home, townhouse, in your garage, I even spray it behind my frig and stove, I know it's for outdoor use. But it works and I have no problems with it. Keep away from pets. Roaches have vanished within 2 days. Also spray it in any holes in the walls or cracks in the home and long as you don't spray it on surfaces that you may use for eating or touching. Swear by this product. Live in Florida, best stuff ever for ants, roaches!!!! Good luck! March 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works really well! My garden plants are bug-free after one application! June 3, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ANTS.....Gone!!!! We live in the woods and have a horrible problem with ants....everywhere. This product works great with out damage to plants or vegtables. Use it on the garden, flowers, and in the yard. Used it for a long time and will continue to use. October 10, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not for use against Asian Mango Flower Beetle I had a problem with Asian Mango Flower Beetles, which roughly look like Japanese Beetles, eating the flowers of my Meyer lemon trees. I tried an Organic spray that did nothing and then tried Sevin. I applied Sevin every day on the flowers and the bugs just kept on chomping. Again there was no impact. The flowers are all gone and there will be no lemons this year. Sevin might be a good product but it sure didn't help on these beetles and that is all I can base my opinion on. If anybody knows what does work against these beetles, please post a response. May 12, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ready to use bug killer I was pleased with the product and seems to work well eliminate bugs in the garden to protect my plants. May 19, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed I have used this product in the past, and it has worked very well, but this bottle did nothing to prevent insect damage to my vegetable plants. I will be returning this to Home Depot. May 20, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good bug killer bad sprayer Theres plenty of garden pesticides on the market..... the sprayer clogged after the second use so I had to transfer to another bottle, which I didnt want to do. I guess it killed the bugs in my garden, March 3, 2015
