I am disabled with spinal degeneration. This vacuum is so light and so easy to use. Don't let it's size fool you. I will always stick with SHARK. Stain has NOTHING on Sharks product line. I have a few small dogs. The first time I used this it picked up everything I could see and a lot not visible to the eye. The upholstery cleaner attachment is a work of art that really works without giving me a workout. Thank you SHARK and thank you HOME DEPOT for having great products that you stand behind.

I dont like buying things online but I had to this time. When I opened the box I was so disappointed :(( It was so small and compact I thought oh what a jip. I figured oh well might as well try it. After I tried it I then became disgusted at how dirty my carpet was. This little bitty vacuum worked better than any others I ever had. I would buy 10 of these. Dont let its little size fool you because it runs with the big dogs. It is light, easy to empty and so easy to store. It has a long cord and very long hoses. I can reach my vaulted ceilings without having to stretch. The attachments are extra long and easy to attach.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by jat3 A good vacuum cleaner, at a good price.
This vacuum is well-made, and appears that it will be durable, but time will tell. Concerning use, it does fluff-up the carpet nicely, as other reviewers have noted, and the end result is good. However, regardless of claims to the contrary, this is no Dyson. To me, the Dyson is a little wonder of design, engineering, and ease of use, but then neither does this Shark cost anywhere near what a Dyson does. As in all things, you get what you pay for, and the Shark is good enough. It is, after all, just a vacuum cleaner.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Birdie Awesome vacuum cleaner on carpets and bare floors
My family has been using this particular Shark Navigator Upright for 2 years. It hasn't lost suction so it cleans VERY well. We have a pet so that's a requirement. I've noticed that the weight listed has varied from site to site from 12.5 -15 lbs. It definitely weighs about 15 lbs. Two cons: The "ergonomically shaped" handle is not comfortable for me at all. It pinches my hand while cleaning. I actually use a pot holder or an oven mit while using it. The second con is that the place where the hose meets the base just cracked open on the "seam," if you will. We currently have it secured with silicone tape so that the dust can't escape or build up on what would be the sticky part of regular tape. It's been a week since the break/fix and it still works great. I suppose the newer models that do not have this piece wouldn't have this issue. I've also noticed that newer models have better designed handles for more comfort and control. The product itself is a "can't live without" for me. My next vacuum cleaner will be a Shark upgrade. I hope this was helpful. Thanks.

The Shark Navigator is working very well for me. I hurt my back and this vacuum is much lighter weight than the one I had and is very powerful. I really like it. It works as well on bare floors as on carpet - and with just a flip of the switch.
