The SharkBite 1/2 in. Push-Fit x 3/8 in. O.D. Compression Straight Stop Quarter Turn Valve controls water flow to household plumbing fixtures. The Angle Stop Valve is used where the water pipe enters the room to allow for easy shut-off of water flow to the end fixture allowing for maintenance and repair without having to turn water off to the entire home. The SharkBite push-fit end allows you to simply push on to Copper, CPVC or PEX with no solder, clamps, unions or glue. Just insert the pipe and the stainless steel teeth bite down and grip tight, while a specially formulated O-ring compresses to create a perfect seal. Disassembly is just as fast using the simple disconnect tool so fittings and valves can be easily changed and reused. They can even be rotated after assembly for easier installation in tight spaces.

Rated 5.0 out of 5 by 10 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So easy ! I had to install a new supply line for a toilet and used the Sharkbite system with PEX pipe. Take it out of the box and push it onto the pipe. Done. Really as simple as that. It could not possibly be easier. February 1, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best thing ever! I had to replace mine when I replaced my faucets. I thought I'd have to get a plumber out there as I am not good at sweating pipes. I could not believe how easy this was. One word of warning- If you are cutting off old cut offs, make sure you leave enough pipe. These want to grab quite a bit if you do it per the instructions. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Unbelievably Good I have worked with all known types of plumbing for forty years (brass, copper, steel, ceramic, rubber, glass, miniature, PVC, medical equipment, housing, ranch, irrigation, etc., etc.) except PEX pipe. I had no faith whatsoever that a simple replacement of a PEX valve in a manufactured house would be a quick drip-free job. Wow was I wrong! The Sharkbite valve slid on easily, and surprisingly enough the seals actually work. I installed three valves in a bathroom over a month ago, and all three have worked perfectly. I am so pleased with Sharkbite that I now think that for my next re-plumbing of a house I might choose PEX and Sharkbite valves. No glue, no Teflon, no goop, no heat, no solder, no wrenches, no strain, just cut the pipe and slide the valves on; unbelievably easy. Sharkbite saved me days of re-plumbing, and I'd give it one-hundred stars if I could. October 26, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great! I recently upgraded my kitchen faucet and in doing so realized the old valve needed an upgrade too. This thing works great! I simply cut the pipe, slid this thing on and connected the new water line. Very easy to install! If you are cutting the pipe make sure you have atleast an 1" to work with as this valve needs about that much to work correctly. I definitely recommend the sharkbite and will be using these for more valve replacements in the future. July 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy for anyone to use! Best way to connect new plumbing! No soldering or torches just click it in and go! Dont forget to buy the release clip for these fittings though, a life saver! A++ February 28, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sharkbite makes plumbing easy Very solid product, much better fit than compression and a far easier alternative to soldering. Price is reasonable. No leaks at all. Valve is a little hard to turn, but not terrible. 1/4 turn valve much more convenient than a gate valve. September 5, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent alternative to crimping PEX! Applied to PEX tubing with ease. No leaks. Just watch the video on the item's page. February 24, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quick fit These are expensive, but they save you time and trouble. February 3, 2015
