Product Overview

The SharkBite Connection System offers an extensive line of barb fittings plus manifolds, supports and tools for both clamp and crimp ring PEX tubing installations. When a water distribution project requires low cost materials, a system that utilizes PEX tubing, barb fittings and manifolds is a good choice. In addition to being cost effective, these systems simplify the installation compared to copper or rigid plastic pipe systems that use solder or glue for fitting joints. The SharkBite PEX/Barb System includes everything needed, from pressure regulators and valves with barb connectors, to chrome plated stops for hooking up fixtures.

  • Plastic polysulfone construction
  • Lead free compliant and corrosion proof
  • Low-cost plumbing connection system
  • Barb connection
  • Compatible with PEX pipe
  • Meets NSF 61, ASTM F 877 and CSA 137.5
  • Meets UPC, IPC, and cUPC requirements
  • Fittings work with crimp ring or clamp connection methods
