Product Overview

The 1/4 in. SharkBite x 3/8 in. Compression Connector allows you to transition from Compression to Push-to-Connect. This connector has 2 primary uses; It can be used to thread onto an existing stop valve and convert a compression connection to a push-to-connect connection that will work with 1/4 in. (3/8 in. O.D.) pipe and SharkBite Fittings, and it can be used to connect to faucets that require a 3/8 in. compression connection. SharkBite fittings are the easiest way to join any combination of pipe with no soldering, clamps, unions or glue. Just insert the pipe and the stainless steel teeth bite down and grip tight, while a specially formulated O-ring compresses to create a perfect seal. Disassembly is just as fast using the simple disconnect tool so fittings and valves can be easily changed and reused. Get SharkBite and get a grip on your next plumbing project.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Doesn't fit 1/4 in compression fitting on a typical stop valve. Looks to be nicely made. It sure doesn't fit 1/4 in compression fitting on a typical stop valve, like found on an icemaker rough-in box, which is what I needed. October 5, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by It Leaked! Got the first product and installed it upstairs in the kitchen. A few days later, we noticed a puddle in our down stairs laundry room right where the fridge is. Ruined our floor. Got a new one and it leaked again. December 10, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Connector leaked I bought the kit to install a water line for my new refrigerator. Everything installed very easily without issue, however the stop valve connector leaked after connecting to the refrigerator, causing a significant problem in our new home. November 21, 2015
