The 1 in. SharkBite Push-to-Connect Straight coupling is the easiest way to join copper, CPVC or PEX pipe in any combination with no soldering, clamps, unions or glue. Just insert the pipe and the stainless steel teeth bite down and grip tight, while a specially formulated O-ring compresses to create a perfect seal. Disassembly is just as fast using the simple disconnect tool so fittings and valves can be easily changed and reused. They can even be rotated after assembly for easier installation in tight spaces. SharkBite Fittings are certified for potable water supply and hydronic heating applications. Get SharkBite and get a grip on your next plumbing project.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SharkBite parts worked great Used Sharkbite parts to repair a leakly solder joint. The videos on the Sharkbite web site are very helpful. . September 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Extremely easy to use I had to move a water supply line to install a new toilet. I found the Sharkbite range of products and I am so impressed I tried to see if I could buy stock in the company. (I don't think they are public.) I cut the existing pipe, smoothed off the cut end with the orange sharkbite tool and then slipped this coupling on. I ran PEX tubing up through the floor to the bathroom above. Each item just pushes on in place and not a drop of water came out when we switched the water supply back on. Perfect! February 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by SHARKBITE - best push-fit These are the best push-fit on the market. Are these worth the expensive price, ABSOLUTELY. Whether in tight quarters (against floor board and joist) or in wide open spaces these always work like a charm, no muss, no fuss, no leaks, no fires and no aggravation. Best of all plumbing can be disassembled in a breeze if need be. Try that the old fashioned way. So no matter your pipe material (pvc, cpvc, copper) Sharkbite's rock. Also used on my 3/4" air line runs in the garage (150psi) for years now. Hope this helps. July 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worked great on copper pipe I was installing a sediment filter, and had to tie into some existing copper pipe. First I tried sweating a brass sharkbite fitting to the copper pipe (not always easy), and sure enough it leaked. Replaced it with a push fit coupling and no leaks. I could have tried another sweat fitting, and picked up a mapp gas torch for like $50, but for $10 I had this coupling in, water turned back on, and beer in hand in a matter of minutes. Rated 5 out of 5 by Who needs a plumber?? Bought this item to replace a damaged frost-free spigot. I simply cut the copper pipe that attached to the old spigot, screwed on the coupling, and pushed the new spigot and coupling onto the copper. No leaks, no headaches and no plumber fees! May 12, 2014
