Answer:
No, using the fitting outdoors will not void the warranty. One exception to this rule is freezing temperatures, you must insulate these fittings just as you would any other plumbing fitting. Also, sunlight will not damage the fitting.

Rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works Great, Installs Fast and Easy, No Leaks, 25 Year Warranty These works great for reducing 3/4" supply lines to 1/2" for shut off valves and other water supply purposes. I used this fitting to reduce a 3/4" copper line to 1/2" CPVC line for an icemaker supply this time. It pushes on fast and stays on tight. No leaks with full pressure. This can also be removed in under a minute using Shark Bite's simple clip release tool available at Home Depot as well. I've used Shark Bite fittings for some time and plan on continuing to do so. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The easy way to do it I discovered SharkBite several years ago when I was DIY installing a water softener. The water supply was copper and the house plumbing was PEX. I glued my shutoff and bypass manifold together with PVC pipe and valves and connected it to the supply and house plumbing with SharkBite fittings. Now, I always use SharkBite fittings. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Prodct better then the gray clap style i gotta admit it looked too good to be true yet i had the faith to walk into home depot , on Pembroke Road and 441 in Florida there were three plumbers there professionals and they told me this was the best thing to come out in the plumbing business and piping , then I found that my friend was working in the plumbing dept who demonstrated how it worked in the actual store , we came home me and my neighbor who was great we just sawed off the T then sanded the pipe clean a little and it just snaps into place , no water spitting out at the T joint section and it's better quality stronger the PVC , AWESOME February 4, 2015
