No, use the PEX-a with Oxygen barrier for heating (160 degrees). I bought PEX-b which I used for my plumbing supply line.

Yes. However, make sure that the water passing through the pipe stays within the ranges that it is specified to. SharkBite PEX has a maximum working pressure of:
160 psi @ 73.4°F (23°C)
100 psi @ 180°F (82°C)
80 psi @ 200° F (93°C)

I'm installing new hot water baseboard heat in my home.

Is it OK to use PEX pipe to connect the baseboards together and to the boiler through a copper stub. This is not radiant floor heating so I do not believe I would not need to use oxygen barrier PEX pipe.

Answer:
The reason for oxygen barrier PEX is because the water used in radiant floor heating is reused in the boiler. The oxygen barrier PEX prevents oxygen from entering the boiler and causing oxidation. If your hot water baseboard heating will be using the same boiler/recycled water process, it would be recommended to use Oxygen Barrier PEX.

Answer:
Yes, you can. Just be sure to keep it out of direct sunlight. Direct UV exposure will break down the piping.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very easy to use and work with I have been using PEX piping in my remodel and I am very happy with the quality of the product. I was worried it would not hold up like copper does but in fact I think this product is superior to copper. Much easier to work with and you do not have to solder. July 21, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Doesn't leak yet I bought to replace "Big Blue" pipe I installed 20 years ago that was recalled in early 90's and is just now starting to break/leak so I shouldn't have any problems for about 40 years. By the way, for those looking for connectors to work with Big Blue, the Sharkbite connectors work if the pipe is pushed all the way in. February 14, 2012
