The turntable is 15.4 inches. Don't go bigger or the table won't spin.

Answer:
I can use a 14 in. diameter pizza pan or a 15 in rectangular cake pan. There are two racks. One for baking and one for roasting. I bake cakes and pies all the time. And in half the time of a oven. The great thing about it is that it doesn' t heat up the house.

Answer:
A 14" dish fits without a problem, more of a concern is not to over weight the carousel with more than 6 lbs. as it will eventually burn out the motor.

Answer:
I have a model R-930AK which is 11 years old and is placed in a cabinet which has approx. 1/4 inch clearance on either side, but has large clearance in the rear. It has performed well over the years and still works fine. We use the convection portion of the unit quite often and it seems to dissipate the heat quite well. Hope this answers your question to your satisfaction.

Answer:
It is a pretty big unit, and I have mine built in on a custom made kitchen, made by my son. It must be able to let air circulate around it. You can put it on the counter top but don' stack things against it and on top of it. Mine uses a ventilation fan fon my gas range.

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 72 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy Purchase and Delivery This is my 4th Sharp Carousel Micro Wave Convection oven. My first was bought 33 years ago and was given away 5 years ago to Teen Challenge ,still working but parts were not available. The Third is now used in my wash room at the age of 22 ,The 3rd had many problems from the start but I did not realize it did not heat up as it should ,being I was also using my 2nd oven . It broke 3 times from needing the same part to fix it.So we bought this 4th one being I love the versatility of cooking with this double duty oven.It has so far in one months time been heating like my 2nd oven .It is exactly like my 3rd oven so if I keep it through the years I have parts to have replaced. So Far I love it! February 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Carousel convection microwave by Sharp This is the third convection microwave by Sharp that we've owned. Perfect for 2-3 person family. Wouldn't be without one. Better than heating up the big oven every time we want to bake. There's nothing you can't do in this oven/MW combo. May 17, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Much better than my 35 year old Montgomery Ward oven Used it for a couple weeks now and everything is fine. We can bake muffins and bread - even fit two muffin pans in the oven. This oven replaced our 35 year old Montgomery Ward microwave convection, so we find our Sharp oven much better. The only negative we have - and it may not really be a negative - is we prefer a door handle, rather than pushing a button to open the door. One leg was a little shorter than the others, so we a little square of foam under the short leg. April 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ok purchase im still getting used to operating microwave the controls seem to be more complicated than my previous ones for example i miss the different times like 30 seconds and ect all I have found is one minute , the microwave seems to work ok most of the time but it burns the microwave popcorn which we eat quite often so in conclusion Im still learning and hopefully Ill learn to operate like my old ones . Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sharp Microwave-Convection Oven This is an excellent, versatile oven. The only drawback was that the plastic finish on the one of this model we previously owned eventually yellowed somewhat. We had to replace that unit because one of us accidentally broke the door latch on the prior one we owned. Hopefully the plastic will not yellow on this one. February 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Microwave with lots of added features This is a replacement microwave for one that was installed when the house was built 20 years ago. I chose this model for similarity (almost exact) to previous microwave. It has a convection oven component that is great to use in combination with standard oven features. It is easy to clean as well. It fit well into my cabinets and the optional trim kit that I purchased completed the look nicely. October 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works Great and Looks Great. Amazing number of cooking features. The Convection Microwave arrived on the third day. Very pleased with how it preforms and the cooking options. Installed with the stainless steel built in trim kit. Really glad it went into the cabinet slot where the previous MV had been for 22 years. August 19, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So good, we bought it again Our Sharp combo convection/microwave gave us 12 years of good service. Think I had to replace the door switch about 5 yrs. ago. When it decided to stop microwaving last month, and was going to cost close to $300 to repair, I replaced it with the identical model (still available) for not much more brand new. H.D. matched Wal-Mart's on-line price. Very happy. November 18, 2012
