2.0 cu. ft. Countertop Microwave in Black with Sensor Cooking is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 148.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm a big fan of Sharp microwaves! I've used the Sharp carousel microwaves for years - and they LAST for years. The one and only beef I have with this one is the buttons. They have soooo many buttons on it, now, that they are in microscopic font. I have to drag out my glasses to read the buttons. The highly used buttons like timer, stop, and start are no longer boldly marked. And, it's a pain to use the timer button. You have to hit timer and then more buttons before you can enter the time, which is irritating and creates opportunities for error (and ruining food). The actual microwave is great, though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far, so good Bought this unit as a replacement for a 10+ year old Sharp carousel that worked wonderfully until it finally didn't. First impression was that this is a very similar unit in terms of features and operation, and that has proven to be be true. The unit is easy to operate, heats evenly, cooks well and looks great in our kitchen. It has a ton of settings and features to the extent that I'm sure I'll never learn to use them all. There are really only two significant downsides to this unit. As I shopped microwave ovens in general, it was apparent to me that the build quality is not what it was 10 years ago. Models today are manufactured with much more plastic than metal and the doors (in particular) seem flimsy, lightweight and balky to open and close. The door on this model is not the flimsiest I tested, but it lacks the solid feel of it's predecessor. It opens and closes decently, but because of it's light weight it is very easy to slam it without trying. The second shortcoming is THE NOISE!!! Not only is it surprisingly loud, but is a low rumble that stops everyone in their tracks if they've never heard it operate before. Bottom Line: if it works for as long as the last one did, I'll be very satisfied with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my Sharp Microwave I have always had Sharp microwaves and have always had excellent service from them. This is my fourth one and I really had to do a lot of research to find a 2.2 cu ft. I was finally able to purchase one on line and had absolutely no problems receiving it. Much easier than purchasing in store and having to bring it home it came right to the door. The features on this one are GREAT!!! I absolutely love all the GREAT Sensor features much more than my other one. I use mine for meals everyday so they really get a good work out from me. My last one lasted 9 years!!! My husband is even enjoying using it!! If you want a microwave you can count on, purchase a Sharp and you won't go wrong!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It heats up very fast, cooks great! I love this microwave, however, it's pretty noisy, especially when opening and closing the door. I might not have purchased it had I known this beforehand. I bought it online and hadn't tried it in person. I love the size and the carousal, that is why I purchased it to begin with, along with the black color. Pretty satisfied with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product. Sensor cook feature is amazingly accurate and useful. This microwave is functioning perfectly. The sensor cook and sensor reheat features are accurate and used frequently with great results. 1200W of power makes cooking quick and easy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Faulty internal paint coating. Literally used this oven a dozen uses, and the paint starts peeling from the back, inside wall. Sharp is typically a very sound product. I believe we just got the 1 in 1000, faulty oven. I would have rated this much higher had the paint not failed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy with the choice I made I researched a variety of brands before making this purchase and so far am happy with my decision. Size is nice, I cooked mac & cheese in the microwave for the first time ever and was pleased with the results. Also been using the child safety lock feature which was a must due to my three year old. Tried the baked potato button the other day and it wasn't quite done to my liking, but simply needed an additional 30 seconds of cook time

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW This is the best microwave I have ever used. It cooks smarter than I do. I am so happy I found and bought this one over all that I looked at . It is nice and big and will hold a big plate with plenty of room to move around. and cooks so fast because of the 1200 Watts. If you are looking for a new microwave with power this is it.
