I have always had Sharp microwaves and have always had excellent service from them. This is my fourth one and I really had to do a lot of research to find a 2.2 cu ft. I was finally able to purchase one on line and had absolutely no problems receiving it. Much easier than purchasing in store and having to bring it home it came right to the door.
The features on this one are GREAT!!! I absolutely love all the GREAT Sensor features much more than my other one. I use mine for meals everyday so they really get a good work out from me. My last one lasted 9 years!!! My husband is even enjoying using it!!
If you want a microwave you can count on, purchase a Sharp and you won't go wrong!!!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by kylie Happy with the choice I made
I researched a variety of brands before making this purchase and so far am happy with my decision. Size is nice, I cooked mac & cheese in the microwave for the first time ever and was pleased with the results. Also been using the child safety lock feature which was a must due to my three year old. Tried the baked potato button the other day and it wasn't quite done to my liking, but simply needed an additional 30 seconds of cook time

This is the best microwave I have ever used. It cooks smarter than I do. I am so happy I found and bought this one over all that I looked at . It is nice and big and will hold a big plate with plenty of room to move around. and cooks so fast because of the 1200 Watts. If you are looking for a new microwave with power this is it.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by JayO Features alright, but flimsy construction
Easy to clean. Big inside. Door is clunky. The whole thing seems flimsy. Very small print on operating buttons so you must look closely to operate it (i.e., not instinctive). Noisy operation and noisy closing mechanism. Closes firmly, stays closed, works alright, but construction appears very cheaply made, and, considering it comes from China, who could wonder? I DO wonder if it will last many, many, many years like its predecessor. Push button door opener is an awkward and unnecessary extra step compared to having a door pull handle, and the more mechanical levers, the more things to wear out early. We're getting the hang of it.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by mercury24 Great functions, okay button layout
This micro's functions are really great. The sensor cooking is really smart and usually cooks everything without you having to enter a time.
The design is really nice, it looks great in my kitchen. The open button is really easy to push and only requires light pressure.
The power of the micro is really great. I feel it cooks in less time than other ones, so you do have to adjust your cooking time.
The only con that I have for this is that the button layout is a bit confusing. There is not a great distinction between the start button and the others. Also, the stop button is in the middle, in between all the other buttons. A bit confusing at first, but my suggestion is to mark it with stickers or tape.
Also, the start button doubles as a 'minute plus' button. I prefer it to be 30 seconds plus, but its not a big deal.
Overall, its a great unit, but the button layout is a bit disappointing. However, I like the functions enough to recommend this product.
