Tried it and did not like it for what I needed it for. Ended up getting a regular squeeze stapler. Tried using it for insulation and vapor barrier in a bedroom.

Bought the slap/hammer tacker to put down felt before I could lay the rolled mineral roofing. The product worked good.

The unit worked okay until the hold mechanism popped off in the middle of using it to put down roofing felt. And the spring shot out and down two stories into the weeds. Once we found it we had to hold the end to keep the spring from flying of. I love Dewalt tools but this one failed us when we needed it. It was returned. Thanks Home Depot for a great return policy!

Compared to other staplers on the market this was the least expensive but I figured I was going only going to use it one time. But it could be used every day!
