Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by JUNK You get what you pay for, spend the extra money and get a good one. It lasted and 15 staples and tore up February 3, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by The Name Stanley just doesn't mean what it used to . . . The 'wacky tacker' from Stanley was the one I had seen some pros use, and I thought it would perform better than my Arrow tacker, which jammed frequently. Unfortunately, the Stanley jammed just as frequently and, after about an hour of use, it jammed completely and, even after disassembling it, could not be unjammed. I am card-carrying, journeyman machine repair technician who spent his career repairing and rebuilding machining machines worth thousands, even millions, of dollars, yet I could not get this tacker back up and running. In my professional opinion, it was designed to jam, and designed to be replaced. I replaced mine with the Performax tacker, which is Menard's home brand. After carefully examining the engineering that went into the tool, I determined that it had a much better potential of being a reliable, easy-to-use tool. I have not been disappointed. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Would look at something different Not that it is a bad tacker, it's just that it is shaped to where if your are not careful you will hit your knuckles on what ever your hammering to. The shape of it is hard to work with and it is kind of heavy. The head of it should of had a different angle to it as to make it easier to use. It works, just have to be careful when using it. Bad design. I should have taken it back or bought a different style/brand. December 17, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Absolute Garbage Next to impossible to load, jammed every tenth staple. Spent more time clearing it than using it. DO NOT BUY. December 15, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do Not Buy This Product This stapler did not make it through a single set of staples before jamming. Unjamming was difficult but you will get better at unjamming it because you will be unjamming it constantly. After unjamming it 4 times, I finally returned it to HD and bought a more expensive model. I won't ever waste time with Stanley tools ever again. December 6, 2014
