Unfortunately the THD rep didn't answer your question. The standard width of all sheetrock available is 48", although builders purchasing large quantities can spec a particular width.

Answer:
Best off using the green in the whole bathroom. May not be code required but it is mold resistant. If you plan on living I this space for any length of time it is well worth it. Any areas exposed to direct water from shower or bath however should use the duorock or wonder board products

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by This new lightweight gypsum panel is significantly lighter than regular sheetrock, but it also seems more brittle I like this product. It is a lot easier to carry and maneuver on the job site. It seems to be just as stiff/strong as regular sheetrock. One thing I did notice is that when cutting off relatively narrow strips (e.g., 3 inches or so), the strips have a tendency to break more than regular sheetrock does. August 19, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product Great product, very easy to handle, maintains it strength on ceilings. Very easy to score and cut. Will continue to use this product. November 30, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to work with This ultralight drywall is easy to work with even in the 12 footers. The weight difference is substantial and allowed me to handle these sheets by myself. They scored and snapped very well. March 9, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Won't Use It Again!! Better read the reviews for the 4' X 8' size. Yea its lite weight al right but that maybe the only PRO it has going for it. October 16, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This is a great product It is much lighter but it manages to retain all of the strength of a normal weight sheet. I will definitely by it again for my next project. January 17, 2012
