Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by So far so good I was looking for a decent carport tent for around 2 months before I purchased this one. I needed one house an offroad truck and lots of extra stuff I had laying around the yard. I looked into harbor freights cheap ones but I heard way too many horror stories about them barely making it through most rain storms so I decided to anty up some extra money and get a better quality one. I live in Orange County, NY where the winters are pretty harsh. We have had a few big rain storms and very windy days and so far so good, everything seems to be pretty sound, and all I did was I used (2) 9inch stakes to hammer through the boot of the frames and into the ground instead of using Shelter Logics supplied stakes. Overall the frame of the tent is pretty good, nothing special but it seems pretty heavy duty and sturdy. The cover/tent itself is ok. Its thicker than the other ones I looked at but its honestly still not that thick. It seems a bit more durable than the other tents listed for $150-$300 but for the $500 I payed I was hoping for one a bit more thicker. And lastly, The directions arent the best. Its all very easy work but they leave out some information you have to "guesstimate" on. I consider myself pretty handy and I had this tent up within 3-4 hours with the occasional break.
