This question is from 12 ft. x 20 ft. x 8 ft. Grey Steel and Polyethylene Garage without Floor
Asked by

1. Are the end panels supposed to sit 2 or 3 inches off the ground?
2. What is the best way to open the doors without the door-opening system?
3. Is there another suggestion for anchoring it? I've put in 2 anchors but it has taken an hour...I am twisting the paint off the steel it is so difficult...can I tie sandbags inside or something?

2. I ended up installing a pulley on the third and fourth support bows, and sliding a piece of pipe thru the center flap between the zippers. I tied a rope to the pipe then up thru both little pulleys so when I unzipped the two zippers on either side, I could pull on the rope and the center would roll up inside. I tie off to one of the side poles to keep it up.
3. I have very rocky soil here, so I ended up tapping on the top of the anchors as I spun them into the ground. I used a two foot piece of pipe thru the top hole, and kept thumping as I twisted it into the ground. I did this on all 4 corners. I also bought some 2 foot long stakes, inserted at an angle and tied off every other bow at the bottom.
Hope this helps. Read Less

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great shelter We bought ours over 6 years ago and we now need a new cover. The good old HOT California sun has ruined it. The year we bought ours the neighbors good a different brand at the same time and they are now on their 3 cover and we are just needing to replace the original. August 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Shelter logic car port I have had this garage up for over 8 years with no maintenance other then keeping heavy snow off it and it's held up GREAT. granted I do need a new tarp cause it's warn through a little here and there over time but overall it has been well worth the money. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by 12 X 20 did not stand up to time I bought this 2 1/2 years ago this morning after a heave rain it split righ down the middle of the top August 10, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by OK for the price The workmanship on the metal parts is definitely 3rd world. The holes are somewhat kittywampus which makes inserting bolts challenging (especially as you stand it up). The bend radii are WAY off. You need to use a lot of muscle to "stretch" this to its 12 foot width. Having said that, they give you extra nuts and bolts. The fabric is well done. July 20, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product Took 9 hours to put together but well worth the money May 3, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ShelterLogic This shelter was easy to assemble with the directions and two people. The quality is as advertised and is fine. I'm pleased with the extra space. It held up to the first winter storm of 12" of wet heavy snow. Power was out for three days an I forgot to clean it off but it was no problem. I liked the free in store delivery and the price was competitive and fair. December 19, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by This garage in a box seems to be pretty good so far. Springtime is a long way off. The directions were o.k. I was suprised at the thin guage steel used. The tubing gave in to the tightning of the hardware. I was very dissapointed to find two patches on the cover of a brand new $430.00 unit. I called the factory and after being on hold for almost 30 min. they told me the cover is under warrenty for 4 yrs. They should of sent me a new cover in my opinion. At least a partial refund. I didn't buy a used unit. October 28, 2013
