What is the diameter of the metal tubes?

Asked by: Anonymous
Not exactly sure, mine are full of logs, so I cannot turn the rack over, but "guestimating" but looking at them, they look like maybe somewhere around 1.25-1.5". They have a very sturdy feel to them. We made our 12' long and have them filled a little over the top of the tubing and they handle the weight very well and have not dented any at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple yet brilliant. I bought my house and two of these were already here. I couldn't find more at any local stores. I love that you can make the racks as long as you want. I have three set up in my backyard each one 23' long. I have the wood stacked about 6' high which gets me at just over 4 cords. I have one set on my deck that holds about a cord. End of the season I take a couple of screws out and remove the 2x4's and they store away nice. I have built and used many different racks and these are by far the best way to go. Powder coated and strong for not much money. No brainier for a guy that heats his house 7months of the year with firewood.

The wood holder was just right for our deck, and now that corner is neat and accessible. I know it can hold large amounts, but the small bits and pieces are also well contained.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Nice and sturdy with a good finish. Looks good on the back porch. With two treated 2x4s it should serve me well for years.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the Best I ordered four of these. Three were okay. On one of the pairs, the finish was cracked off and scaly when removed from the box, and did not stand straight up on the 2x4s I used them on. It was too much hassle to return them, so I used them anyway. I painted them over to hopefully keep them from rusting out. Also, more screws should be provided.
