Answer:
The Firewood Rack Adjustable Bracket Kit can adjust to a length that fits your firewood storage needs. By purchasing (2) 2' x 4' lumber you can attach the brackets to each piece of lumber and move the brackets to the desired length that can be customized for log storage and organization.

Answer:
Not exactly sure, mine are full of logs, so I cannot turn the rack over, but "guestimating" but looking at them, they look like maybe somewhere around 1.25-1.5". They have a very sturdy feel to them. We made our 12' long and have them filled a little over the top of the tubing and they handle the weight very well and have not dented any at all.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 21 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very good product. I need several cords of wood to get through the winter months and this product helps keep my wood stacked neatly and organized. August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by easy to set up and sturdy easy to install a custom width in my case of 80" in a nook I had available. very sturdy as I filled firewood to the top of the rack. August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works Nice and sturdy with a good finish. Looks good on the back porch. With two treated 2x4s it should serve me well for years. July 1, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Nice and solid, but finish slightly marred There were scratches and marks on the finish, but no damage to the shipping package, so I thought it might have been used as a floor model or the manufacturer has terrible quality control to let it be sold this way. I decided it was too much hassle to return but I called the manufacturer to let them know. September 29, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Deceptive Height Just got it home today. Was surprised at how short it is. I wanted to do a 8 foot span and hold a half cord. However, the height from the installed base to the top of the rack is only 39 inches, making it hard to stack the wood 48 inches high. Read the dimensions carefully on the Home Depot site. First figure says 48" depth. That is the depth if you put a 48 inch 2X4 in the slots. The second figure is 43", but that is from ground to top of rack. Your stacking height is only 39" So you will need 10 ft 2X4s to have a rack that will hold 1/2 cord of 24" long firewood. June 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Simple yet brilliant. I bought my house and two of these were already here. I couldn't find more at any local stores. I love that you can make the racks as long as you want. I have three set up in my backyard each one 23' long. I have the wood stacked about 6' high which gets me at just over 4 cords. I have one set on my deck that holds about a cord. End of the season I take a couple of screws out and remove the 2x4's and they store away nice. I have built and used many different racks and these are by far the best way to go. Powder coated and strong for not much money. No brainier for a guy that heats his house 7months of the year with firewood. November 5, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Great Value! I've used several pair of these brackets for 20 years and when I needed more recently (to add to my collection), I was glad to see they are still available. They are heavy-duty (for residential firewood use), have a great powder coat finish and are accurately fabricated to 2x4-receiving dimensions without being too tight or too loose. Although they come with screws to use to fasten the brackets to the wood, I've found I do not need to use them. I've found similar products for much more money that are more cheaply made. These are a great value and I expect to get a long lifetime from them! September 17, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bracket Kit was just what we needed. This is our second firewood bracket set. It is great that we can cut the 2x4's to the length we need, attach the brackets and it is ready to use. The brackets were easy to attach. They seem to be durable and should last many years. We gave the brackets a "Good" rating because there was a few areas where the paint was gone all the way to the metal. This was not a shipping issue. The first set we ordered a year ago was perfect. We did not send them back. The husband touched them up wih some paint he had. We use our firewood rack for our firepit wood and it works great. July 22, 2014
