Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dunson Nice and solid, but finish slightly marred
There were scratches and marks on the finish, but no damage to the shipping package, so I thought it might have been used as a floor model or the manufacturer has terrible quality control to let it be sold this way. I decided it was too much hassle to return but I called the manufacturer to let them know.

Just got it home today. Was surprised at how short it is. I wanted to do a 8 foot span and hold a half cord. However, the height from the installed base to the top of the rack is only 39 inches, making it hard to stack the wood 48 inches high. Read the dimensions carefully on the Home Depot site. First figure says 48" depth. That is the depth if you put a 48 inch 2X4 in the slots. The second figure is 43", but that is from ground to top of rack. Your stacking height is only 39" So you will need 10 ft 2X4s to have a rack that will hold 1/2 cord of 24" long firewood.

I bought my house and two of these were already here. I couldn't find more at any local stores. I love that you can make the racks as long as you want. I have three set up in my backyard each one 23' long. I have the wood stacked about 6' high which gets me at just over 4 cords. I have one set on my deck that holds about a cord. End of the season I take a couple of screws out and remove the 2x4's and they store away nice. I have built and used many different racks and these are by far the best way to go. Powder coated and strong for not much money. No brainier for a guy that heats his house 7months of the year with firewood.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SpacePlanner A Great Value!
I've used several pair of these brackets for 20 years and when I needed more recently (to add to my collection), I was glad to see they are still available. They are heavy-duty (for residential firewood use), have a great powder coat finish and are accurately fabricated to 2x4-receiving dimensions without being too tight or too loose. Although they come with screws to use to fasten the brackets to the wood, I've found I do not need to use them.
I've found similar products for much more money that are more cheaply made. These are a great value and I expect to get a long lifetime from them!

Really impressed with this product. Easily made using two 2x4s. Going to buy a second for a smaller rack on the deck.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Rose Bracket Kit was just what we needed.
This is our second firewood bracket set. It is great that we can cut the 2x4's to the length we need, attach the brackets and it is ready to use. The brackets were easy to attach. They seem to be durable and should last many years. We gave the brackets a "Good" rating because there was a few areas where the paint was gone all the way to the metal. This was not a shipping issue. The first set we ordered a year ago was perfect. We did not send them back. The husband touched them up wih some paint he had. We use our firewood rack for our firepit wood and it works great.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by billy What a great idea
The adjustable firewood rack bracket I ordered from Home Depot was delivered to the store on time and was very easy to pick up. The product is very well made and was very easy to use. Cut 2 x 4 wood to length and screw the brackets to the wood with the screws supplied in the package. I made my rack five feet long and expect that it easily will hold enough firewood for 2-3 weeks. However I live in western Oregon and our winters are quite mild.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by BUJU522 So far, so good!
It works really well so far! The only thing I noticed is that there is a bit of flexibility/movement in the rack. But it works as intended.
