CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 14 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Funny You Should Ask. Garage in a Box I purchased the Garage in a Box because I am a 77 year old widow who broke her hip and thought it would be prudent to get a temporary garage close to my house. It took my handyman, Dan, 7 hours to put it up. Not bad. I think the directions said 2 men 3 hours. We bought extra stakes to pin it down. The next day the whole deal went air-bourne (would have clobbered my Highlander except I was in the village). The garage in a box flew over a car parked in the drive and fell onto an apple tree outside my front door. My brother, a contractor, came with his crew and they reassembled it. Beat, torn, and ugly, they put it up and staked it down. Looks like the Inquisition put it back. Every time it snowed, I hobbled across the lane into the "garage," and used my cane to thump the snow off the roof. Last night we got a BIG SNOW and this morning my "garage" is a collapsed hovel. I wonder who to call to haul it away. Any thoughts? December 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great garage easy set up, plywood the roof,if used in snow country use 3/8s plywood. screw plywood too metal poles also use electrical 1/2" emt cut two length for collar ties,so roof won,t cave in. the plywood keeps the tent material from flexing and stretching. I have another one that is ten years old, and works great. October 21, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome carport This carport is awesome and sturdy. Just make sure you don't anchor it until after you put the cover on, since there are pole spacers. Other than that. I love it ! July 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice sturdy car tent! Works great so far. It's been up for two months, with no issue. Was not too difficult to assemble, but definately need two people. I bought an additional 4 anchors, so that now all the legs are anchored except for 2. My car stays clean and dry. Myself and a few buddies even drank some beer in it during a rainstorm. Bonus! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Does not disappoint After purchasing an inferior shelter product I learned that the frame must be solid and there must be a way to secure the structure to the ground. Wind at 15 mph will destroy other shelters. This has withstood the elements including the severe west coast wind storms this year. Just make sure you do secure it to the ground or a pad. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by We'll see Putting the arches together was easy once you got the first one done, (there are 5). The pipe and ratchets are a little flimsy compared to other garages I've had. Once it was up and secure it seemed okay. Only time will tell. I did like that there was not a rope to thread through the bottom, only brackets and some bungees to hold the door up once it is rolled up open(but they are flimsy too). The directions were a little tough. Pictures only. Good thing I've done them before. July 1, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by very, very easy pickup at store in Hermantown Mn. Easy pickup and very courteous worker waited on me! April 14, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellant storage area(portable) Easy setup, frame is strong, material seems heavy duty, but time will tell. Manufacturer sould maybe offer extra roof supports for the snow states. Did put a piece of contuit in roll-up door, made it easy to roll up nice and neat. Also ordered 1 extra set of tie-downs, just to be sure. December 12, 2011
