Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by RLK -I have two gripes about this "Garage in a Box"
I'm a mechanic and I enjoy working on all things. When they're built right, they are a joy to work on. The Garage in a Box has two major issues that would keep me from buying it had I known about them beforehand.
1. The images show the covering has plenty to drape to the ground on all 4 sides. Maybe I got a trimmed one but now I'll have to berm up the sides to make it weather proof.
2. Very poor quality control concerning the alignment of the bolt holes. I had to re-drill quite a few of them so the bolts would slide in.
Time will tell about the weather proofing.
Plus, the directions are minimal.

I have had this for a little over 3 years now. I like the strength of the frame and how the unit looks. It was pretty easy to assemble. The cover lasted maybe 1 1/2 years before it started to break down leaving white dust all over everything stored inside. The top then started ripping until it was totally torn. I bought a large tarp and put that over the unit and that lasted about as long as the original. The lift system for the door was a pain as the rope keeps getting caught in the rollers, the bars on the bottom of the door do not stay together either. This would be a good unit if the cover would last longer.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by David B Overall good design
I've had this for 14 months and it went through a pretty rough winter with no issues. It sits in the sun most of the day as there are no trees over it so it does get extremely hot inside during the summer. I leave the door open most times so never rigged up the roll-up system that is provided. It needs to be well anchored as it is big enough to be a sail. I knew this from experience with other garages. It tends to let the snow slide right off without needing to chase it with a broom. Only disappointment is the lifespan of the cover as the other Garage-In-A-Box I have lasted much better (frame design is better on the Garage-In-A-Box SUV however). The cover just split after a heavy rain (no wind) the other day. My only complaint so far.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Thor Excellent product
We have five of the garage in a box in our service yard area, and they have been invaluable. Overflow parts are stored in them, with a requirement for complete protection from the sun, rain, fog, and dust. This level of protection has now been provided for many months, and the indication is that the rugged construction of the units will provide many years of useful service.

Works great for my full size ford 150 crew cab pickup short box but anything bigger you would need a longer one. The door rolls up nice but the only thing is I've had mine just over a year now and the cover is ripping at the top eve, not bad yet I just had to duct tape it for now but I would buy another one in a heart beat, very easy yo put up and assemble, I'm actually going to buy another one real soon thank you Earl
