Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cdawg This idea is so simple, but works so well. No assembly necessary other than just slipping the 2' X 4" 's in place.
This design allows you to set the height of the sides as well as the length.
The description should be clearer that there are TWO brackets - all you need- included in a single order.
We've only had this up for a few weeks, but seems sturdy and does just what we need.

Easy to use. Have some concern that it is made out of hard plastic instead of hard rubber or steel. I am afraid that it will crack. Will see how it makes it through the cold, snowy winter.

The PT from the store was too wet and thus too large to slip through the horizontal slots. With the wood outside for two weeks, there was some drawing and shrinking effect, so that's both expected and encouraging. The firewood won't be her for another two weeks and by that time, I expect the horizontal 8 foot sections to fit properly. Two ends already do.

Easy to setup. All you need is some 2x4 boards fit them into the brackets and you are done.

This product was easy to use and set up. What I did not know was that the product is even better than i thought. I can literally slide the units along a 2x4x8 and decrease the size of the wood pile as I use wood.

I'm setting up my third set of racks using this product and am very happy with them. Most of the 2 x 4's I've used (some pressure treated some spf) slide right thru. I'm making my racks with 12' 2 x 4's and I'm using 3 brackets per rack. I'm cutting my verticals 5' which gives me about 4 1/2' to stack my wood and I'm pilling higher than that, about 5'. I tie the verticals together with short pieces across the top, about 9 3/4" and then I tie all 3 sets of verticals together with another 12' 2x4 at the top along the back. This makes a very sturdy rack that holds about 3/4 of a cord. Hope this helps. Not sure of the durability of the abs but only time will tell. Oh I built my racks this size to fit in a particular space, you could adjust the size to your needs.

I bought four sets of these to use at my deer hunting camp. These could only be purchased online but they only took a couple of days to arrive. These brackets are of a really simple design and plastic composition. I made two twelve foot long racks for on the porch outside and two four footers for indoors beside the ends of the fireplace. All four sets were made with four foot uprights on the ends. They do exactly what they are supposed to, so I am satisfied. Some reviewers said they had a hard time fitting treated lumber through the slots, but if you choose the drier boards out of the pile at the lumber yard you won't have any problems. I used untreated 2x4s for the uprights.

Just assembled it. Took ten minutes. Bought three pressure-treated 2X4's at Home Depot and got them cut in halves there in the store. Fit fine. Seems sturdy, stable so far. Will write again if that changes. Used the ShelterLogic 4' cover. Fits fine as well. Not bad.
