I live very close to the beach, like 3 blocks and the Mexico golf in South Florida is windy year round that's why I had to buy extra anchors to secure it on the sandy ground. I'm sure it will collapse with 20 mph winds but the good thing about it is that even my wife can take the top in 5 min and it will not suffer any damage. About assembling, my 10 years old son help was necessary and enough to finish in about 1 hour. I think that the purchase was a good move and the money was a bargain. Yes quality is not top of the line but it will do the job.

After ordering this shade structure, I found one at a competitor for $100 less. Don't know how they compare, but I suspect they're comparable. The instructions contain no words. Just pictures. Several steps could use some verbiage. Seems to be acceptable in quality. Did the job when finished.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by fgtuba Quality Sunshade for the money
Assembly was easy. The directions were clear. I did most of it myself, but a second person was helpful in attaching the legs to the top canopy. I use it as a sun shield for my cars in the driveway, so couldn't use the little spikes they give to secure the frame to the ground. I used weights on one side and tied the legs on the other side to the fence along my driveway. Although I wouldn't call it heavy duty, I expect it will last a couple years. It makes the driveway much cooler when the sun is out, and that is what I bought it for.
It hasn't come up against high winds yet, but it rained all last night, and the tarp kept everything underneath completely dry. It is a good value for the money.

I purchased this item in 2012 for a party and recently felt inspired to transform it lol. Its an excellent product. I have never taken it down. Its been stranding up since 6/2012 which includes super storm sandy. Its very important to anchor the canopy correctly otherwise wind will cause it to lift up. I would purchase it again and highly recommend anyone that owns this to change it to their specifications like I did :-) That bright aluminum white is the perfect canvas.

We had this canopy up for three weeks. The first storm that we had after installation basically destroyed some of the framework of the canopy and, of course, the warranty does not cover wind damage. I realize this was not the most expensive canopy available, but for the amount of money we paid we expected it to last longer than three weeks.

The canopy took a couple of hours to put up and was a little more complicated than the cheaper brand I bough a week later. Seems very stable and makes a good protection for my car from the tree sap.

I purchased a similar canopy that was ultimately destroyed in Hurricane Katrina. This canopy has a similar frame but the tarp is not as high quality. It says that the anchors are included but they were not in the package but an easy pickup at Wal-Mart. There is not enough rope to anchor the canopy. The canopy has been in place and for several weeks and makes a great place to park my car to keep the frost off the windscreen and side windows. If also protects from direct sunlight. the price at Home Depot was less for the same product even after paying shipping. I would recommend this product.

Arrived on time with all its parts. Assembled it in about an hour with three people. Assembly was easy and logical. Provided much-needed shade for four 6-foot tables with chairs. Would probably cover 40-50 chairs depending on size. Not sure how it holds up against wind and rain as we took it down immediately after use. Would highly recommend this canopy and would purchase again.
