How does it stay down in the wind? Does the sun ruin the cover?

Ground screws should be used in accordance to the instructions. Sun will degrade the cover over time based on exposure. Replacement covers are available from S.L.

gives the door width but would like to know door opening hight

i want to park a golf cart in but not sure of the clearance on the door highth?
Asked by: Anonymous
The door is a bit of a trapezoid shape. At the top it's 72 inches wide, and clears 79 inches off the ground. The fabric rolls up, so you can push it a few more inches out of the way as needed.

Shed-in-a-Box 10 ft. x 10 ft. x 8 ft. Gray Shed is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 144.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waist of money Followed instructions of installation exactly, and one cold front moves in and now it's in peices in my backyard and I should have just taken my money outside and thrown it in the air to watch it fly away, at least I wouldn't have a mess to pick up in my yard. Now I'm just out my money because they can't handle 15 mph winds

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't hold up in wind While the size is great, this couldn't hold up in 35 mph winds tearing the fabric in multiple places. My unit was less than 1 year old. Then we got hit with 50 mph winds and the shed buckled bending several of the supports. Unless you live in a wind free area or amongst trees where this shed has a buffer from the wind, you are wasting your money.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks nice. Instructions could be improved. The shelter looks nice and serves its purpose. I think the instructions could be portrayed and written better. I made the mistake of putting in the stakes as instructed and wish that would've been one of the last steps to fully and better secure the unit. I had to pull up the stakes and reposition them better once I had the unit erected. When installing the front and back panels, the pictures became confusing trying to make out what they were trying to present with the straps. I think more written instruction or better step-by-step pictures could improve the process. The screws were bundled together in one bag. Having them separated by size would be easier to pick out which ones to use or have them all the same size since they're so close in length. A sticker with the tubing number and having them bundled by a rubber band would be better than having them marked with ink (many numbers were smeared) and placed individually in the box. I think a single alpha lettering system would be better and easier than the 6 or 7 digit numbers. I use the shed to store a motorcycle, bicycle and some outdoor equipment. It would be ideal if they offered two zipper panels for the front and back; and, a single zipper with Velcro strip across the top and bottom with straps on the side vs. the two zippers with straps on the top.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy! I have two of these shelters, and live in PA where we just had Hurricane Sandy and 65+ mph winds. We used the anchoring system provided, and also cabeled them to some cinder blocks for extra reassurance. I was positive when I went out afterwards there would be some rips and tears, loose seams at the least, but to my amazement not a thing! These held up incredibly well! Instructions are not the greatest, but between the four of us we got it figured out. And since we had two to assemble, the second one went quicker as we learned the best way to go about it on the first one. It seemed to be a lot of extra steps.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice shed I bought this shed in a box brecause I was lead to beleive that it was a one person job to put up,but it's not.. Took me three days to put up by myself (a 65yr old woman) with no one else to help me, you do need at least one other person to help so it would only take hrs to do. The instructions are not that good because it mostly shows pictures to install and so you must guess certain steps, which I had to redo some parts done wrong. However although it was hard to do alone, I did it and very proud of my shed.... and it does have a lot of room inside and looks great in my yard.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Excellent design but terrible quality The excellent concept and design of this product is completely overshadowed by the poor quality of the parts. Ratchet assemblies were not engaging properly. Hardware was corroded so bad you could not spin the nuts by hand. Frame tubes were not marked correctly or legibly and had sharp burrs. Temporary anchors are completely useless due to their short length. The final death of this product comes from the vague and confusing instructions.
