I own 3 Shelterlogic garage sets. The 12x20 and 2-10x20. Product is great. Durable and easy to assemble. The 12×20 is definitely a more permanent structure. So if you're just looking for shelter, go with the easy up, easy down 10x20.

It does the job well. Easy to set up. Costomer service was great. It came with heavy duty foot pads that helped bolt legs to my concrete deck. I wasn't aware that all poles were 3ft long, each leg is made up of two pieces same for each pole length between joints. Other disappointment was joints weren't fully welded. I wish the tarp was a little thicker, we'll see how long it last in the Florida sun. All in all a good product for the price.

I have owned a canopy similar to this before (10x20) but needed to upgrade to something slightly larger for my boat (12x20). The size of this unit is appropriate, but I am dissatisfied with some of the characteristics of this product.
First off, there are no eyelets in the front and back of the tarp. This means with a strong wind, it will push it back off the front bars. This seems like a simple thing, but rather important and you would probably agree if you've owned a canopy before.
Second, and this one is pretty cool, the feet have anchors where you can attach it to the ground, but the first and second pole of the legs don't permanently attach to each other. There are no holes in pole A and pole B for you to stick a pin in. In other words, if there's a strong wind, your legs will stay in the ground as the upper portion of your canopy goes floating away. This seems like a qualification for the Darwin Awards. I fixed this by drilling holes and putting a bold in myself.
Third, in the like 32 spots where they actually do have holes where you can stick a pin to secure pole A to pole B, they only provide you with 4 actual pins. Seriously, this wasn't a mistake, the instructions said my count was correct. This was awesome. So after I ran out of my own bolts, I resorted to using zip ties.
Fourth, some of the poles were so tight to put together, that I had to resort to using a 3 lb. sledge hammer. I could hear it laughing at me when I tried to use my rubber mallet. Seriously, this temporary canopy became permanent because these poles will never come apart again. A hack saw will be required to take this down.
Fifth, it seems like the tarp is thinner than what was used previously. This is actually an issue for me now that this canopy is now "permanent" (see my comment #4).

Product had marks on it that could not be removed. There were parts that were not correct. The directions were not good.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Joesale Shelter Logic 12x20 sun shelter
This is the second shelter I purchased from Shelter Logic.
I had fitment and the wrong parts in each kit I purchased.
I will spend more with another company before I ever try Shelter Logic again.
My issues were with Shelter Logic, NOT HOME DEPOT.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LarryO Very good product, very well designed
It is designed for a car, boat etc, for vehicles not higher then 6½ '. We have purchased it for a camper trailer - 9' high, so we had to build a 2x6 "pony wall" 30" high. We had to anchor it well to a black top and we are very happy with a result.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JULRAL great product, nice look, easy to put up.
The instructions were a bit confusing, but once you start assembly, it was very easy to put up. Be sure to use a rubber mallet and don't hammer too hard to make it fit together or the metal will split.
