Customer Reviews

Super Max 18 ft. x 20 ft. White Premium Canopy is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product I had this product before and is an excellent product however it needs to be secured to the ground and to a fixed structure. You also need to add more hardware to fill ALL the joints. And use lock-nuts on all bolts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy set up but could have improved The unit is easy to set up but due to it's size it should have more hardware to make it more secure. There are holes in the frame tubing but not enough hardware to improve security of the unit. Purchased additional hardware and added to the framework. Also the legs had only two snap pins. There were no instructions indicating whre these two should go. I seems logical that there should have been a snap in each leg since any uneveness will allow a leg to become disconnected. I will be taping each connection to insure stability in the event of threatening wind.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Quality Control I have ever seen! I got this originally thinking it would take me and a friend 2 hours to set up, it turned into about 4 to 5 hours. - about 10 or more poles had holes that did NOT line up - roughly 10 poles had one hole instead of 2 holes - only half the hardware was present, we ended up being able to put the entire canopy up with what was given (its only there to keep everything together until you get the tarp on and under tension) If you are not very mechanically inclined (ie you have no metal working experience), avoid this product and find something else, otherwise make sure you have a drill handy and either some extra bolts or self tapping screws.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Have not been able to set it up, yet. I inventoried the box and found 11 parts missing. You are in the process of ordering those parts. I was unable to use this canopy for our Memorial Day family activities. Please ask me for my review after I have received all the pieces and installed them. Thank you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good quality carport. Good value I like the carport. There were some parts missing that proved to be frustrating but in general I am very pleased. The quality of the actual assembly is quite good to excellent

Rated 3 out of 5 by from short some bolts Apparently parts of the instructions and the hardware packet are for the 12' canopy. I needed to buy 8 2.5" carriage bolts and nuts to set it up. The horizontal bars aren't bolted together. They depend on the tarp to hold them together. In a stiff wind, they could come apart. I suggest self tapping screws to strengthen them. A rubber hammer and a drift are useful to get the swaged joints seated and aligned. I highly recommend anchors much stronger than the 8 flimsy pins they include to hold it down. They're pretty useless. Otherwise, it's quite easy for 1 person to set up. I could have done it alone in under 3 hours if I hadn't had to go buy bolts. I knocked it down 2 stars simply because of the lack of hardware to do it right.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for the money, seems durable Took 2 old worn out guys less than 2 hours to put up. Easy to follow instructions. Need to setup an appointment if getting home delivery. I bought 20 - lag bolts 1/4 x 2.5 inches and nuts to put in the remaining holes as it does not include enough for every hole just the main ones. You will need to drill 12 - 1/4 " holes to screw together the poles along the horizontal as there are no screws in these. I enjoy it. I have the legs raised on 2- 8x16 ( laid sideways) blocks and then it all tied together with rebar tie down wire to weigh each leg and raise it all 16". I am happy. We will see how it holds up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Big, tall ceiling, but lacks a few things. I got this as a temporary solution for a portable garage. The size is great. The ceiling height is awesome! The manufacturer however fails to mention they do not ship all the hardware required. The bag comes with 25 nuts and bolts and you need about 40. When I talked to them they said they ship enough for basic setup. This should be noted because the instruction said put the bolts in the holes but you run out of bolts before you can finish. You have to skip a bunch of holes and put them in key positions (also not labeled). There are also areas that slide into each other but have no holes and I found they like to pull apart during setup. Overall, this is a great canopy. They do not snow load for obvious reasons but I think I can add some supports myself to get by this winter. Only time will tell how the plastic feeling tarp cover will hold up to the elements, it says it is a Polyethylene Fabric Cover but feels like plastic. I would buy this product again and I would recommend this product to anyone needing an outside shelter that has plenty of room and plenty of ceiling height. Also note, I ran a 2x4 board down the center through the truss bars and attached my lights so they hang from the ceiling.
