Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ShelterLogic Canopy Enclosure Kit Assembly was quick and easy. All the parts were included in the box and the assembly instructions were among the best I have experienced. The assembled canopy looks great. Time will tell how long it lasts. December 10, 2011
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by cheap and it shows We ordered the canopy, the enclosure kit, vents, and longer stakes in hopes that this would hold our stuff until we could build a wood building. Negative : enclosure kit does not fit as shown - has gaps (either 6" on one side or 3" on each side.) This is not mentioned when you order the enclosure kit. When we asked for sides that fit like the pictures they show, we were e-mailed and told the enclosure is not the full lenght of the canopy -ie: 29 feet as opposed to the 30 feet that would enclose fully. Same with the front and back -way to short. The bungies are not strong enough to hold the sides, back and front in place. You MUST buy, the larger stakes and cement them into the ground to tie the tent to - if not it will blow away. With all the gaps any wind gets into the tent and lifts it up. I was also very disapointed at how long it took to get all the parts to put it together -approximately 6 weeks for all items to arrive. Since I was on a very tight budget and thought this would work for a year or two - I took my chances. I've only had it up a few weeks and most of the gromments on the ends have broken. The zippers seem to "unzip" themselves in any wind. To help with these problems we are putting straw bales on the corners and around the tent to hopefully keep the wind and dust from constantly coming in. Instructions weren't the best -had to go line and see a video of someone putting it up. Does not assemble in a few hours - give yourself the whole day to put this one up. Looks very cheap - Positive : tent is nice sized - once vents were put in place and fans at both ends, it wasn't so hot inside. Had 2 rain storms and it kept the rain from coming inside and ruining our stuff. Our plans for how to make this work for now - straw bales around the outside openings and half way up the sides as reinforcement. Extra tarps on the inside to help cover the gaps. Already cemented in the larger stakes and tied off tent to them - (so far so good) I am planting fast growing trees around the peremiters of the tent to hopefully keep the winds off of it - If it holds up -it is still cheaper than a stick built building - you get what you pay for - so be prepared to put more money into buying extra's to make the tent useable. .
