Customer Reviews

1-1/8 in. Nail-On Furniture Glides with Felt Pads (8 per Pack) is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Far, So Good So far I have only used these nail-on glides on one chair. I have 4 chairs which need the pads but I started with a two pack to see how they hold up. I had originally used self-sticking pads which tended to wear off after a few months. These new pads seem to have a stickier adhesive and I hope they stay attached. If they do come off at least there is a nylon pad left which is softer than the wood on the chair leg. The instructions say to drill a pilot hole which I didn't want to take the time to do.Three of the pads were applied without trouble but on the last leg I bent two of the nails, so I had to drill to get that one in properly. I will use pilot holes for the rest of the pads. The only thing I don't like about them is the white nylon pad which is noticeable on my brown chairs. I would like the option of brown nylon pads as well which would be more attractive on dark chairs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Only use with zero angle chairlegs We have a hardwood floor and 5 chairs with a 10 to 20 degree leg-slant to them. This product is terrible for those slanted legs. The felt slides off the plastic end which results in scratched floors. We threw this product away as it is prohibitively expensive to pay for shipping to return them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful! Absolute waste of money. Felt pads come off the plastic as soon as someone sits on chair. terrible!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great if the adhesive worked! Been trying to find something to keep my chair legs from scratching up the hardwood floors. Tried adhesive felt pads, cork, etc., and thought these might do the trick since they actually nail into the chair leg and should therefore theoretically not come off. Great theory and they actually did work . . . for a little over a week. After that the adhesive no longer held and the felt pads started coming off, and the legs are back to scratching up the floor. Easy to install, but beyond that, I wouldn't recommend this product, particularly at the price!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Felt falls off easily This product would be much better if the glue on the back of the felt pieces was a bit stronger.. Lasted about 2 weeks and fell off without me realizing, now my newly polyurethaned floor has a big gash in it...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pads come off Purchased this item and the adhesive on the pads does not stay sticky after 2 weeks of usage.
