Answer:
2-1/8 inches is the size of the wheel width. With the lowest setting of the stems, they raise my bed a little over 5". That's not including the leg of the bed frame that the wheel stems fit into. So, from floor to bottom of box springs, it's about 9-1/2 inches. I currently have carpeting, but purchased these as I intend on replacing the carpeting with hard flooring.

Answer:
Conceptually, the answer that they start at 6" and go up to 10" doesn't look right. The Home Depot website says they are "2 1/8 In. adjustable", which would mean they start at 2 18".

Answer:
They do, but it depends on what you are using them for. We also suggest using them with caster/furniture cups for security and reduced movement.

Answer:
It might. These are intended to replace existing casters, like those on a standard bed frame. With a standard bed frame you would pull out the existing caster and push one of these into its place. So the legs on your day bed would need holes on the bottom that are the correct size to accommodate the spindle on these casters. I will tell you that these worked perfectly on a standard bed frame - very sturdy and easy to adjust to the right height. Read Less

Answer:
They should work if they have the right stem size. You would also want to consider the weight of the bed and people using it, these casters have a load capacity of 125 lbs each.

My bedroom floor is incredibly uneven and warped. Will these work if all four have to be adjusted differently to make the bed even? And can a fifth be added to the center support beam for a queen sized bed?

Answer:
Yes, this product can be used to level a bed. A fifth caster can be added to a frame that has a spot for one.

Answer:
That should work. Just make sure the brake is applied to prevent the bed from moving. You may want to buy non-slip furniture cups too, to prevent sliding.

Customer Reviews

2-1/8 in. Adjustable Rubber Bed Frame Casters with Soft Tread (2-Pack) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product to elevate your bed. Exactly what we were looking for, appear to be well made and gives us the under bed height we needed. Bonus that they lock in position as the ones that originally came with the bedframe didn't.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The casters perform as promised and do raise the level of the bed while allowing one to move it easily. I found HomeDepot's price and shipping time on this item superior. The product is slightly problematic since it is not sturdy enough and causes serious instability at the highest setting on a queen size bed. It seems to hold two people okay but the bed wobbles a lot at that level so really you can count on up to an extra four or 5 inches or so, definitely not 10. Otherwise it installs easily and works well enough for my needs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wobbly Many of the online reviews stated this product left the bed frame wobbly. I didn't believe the reviews. Now I do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what the doctor ordered! These are simply perfect! They are just the right height, they are adjustable, they fit just about any size bed frame, they are very sturdy. I don't know why they are are not availbale every where. They are a far cry from those stupid metal cups that bend that are being sold now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked perfectly! The height of the casters adjusts easily and there are markings on the casters that make it easy to adjust them all to the same height. They are very sturdy and lock easily. I was a little reluctant to have to pay so much (it took 3 sets for my queen bed) but it was well worth it. I had first tried the plastic risers sold at home goods stores because they are inexpensive, but the whole bed wobbled (would not recommend those to anyone).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just right Ordered these.. Not sure if they would do the trick.. But very happy raised the bed 3 inch at the min. If to go all the way up... Don't know.. But know I can put stuff under the bed up to at least 6 inch tall.. Just right

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for my purpose These worked great for what I needed. I'm glad I went directly to these instead of the "boxy" style risers- can still move the bed easily- seem sturdy (guest bed doesn't get a lot of use). I was happy with how quickly they delivered them to my store- pickup was easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bed Boosters Loved everything about these bed frame lifters, but I will need to return them as the opening on the frame was too small to receive the post of the lifter.
