How sturdy is the construction of the spacesaver?

Do the doors slide easily? Is it made of metal or plastic? I notice that the warranty is only 90 days? Is this indicative of how long it will last?
Asked by: Catire

Can a rail be installed OVER a shower curtain?

I know this is designed for over a glass slider, but could it be modified to be used with a shower curtain by first install the typical glass door rail?
