Answer:
I used a dremel tool with a cutting blade. Probably overkill, but it made a nice clean cut.

Answer:
Metal hack saw worked well. Had to trim some "burrs" with an Exacto knife. The plastic is too tough to do all the cutting with an Exacto knife or a scissors.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 59 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Replacing broken shower door bottom sweep Existing sweep is broken and needs replacement. It took me a while to figure out how to remove the existing sweep and to install the new one, but I eventually figured it out. June 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to install This was easy to install and keeps the water off the bathroom floor. Arrived at Home Depot in great packaging. May 31, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Decided I didn't need it. I ordered this to replace an existing shower door sweep that had started to come apart, and had become all moldy between the glass and the plastic. After taking the old one off and scouring off the mold, I took a shower without the sweep and didn't have any water come under the door. So I decided not to install the new one. I would recommend trying to do without one. May 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Glass door sweep Item was easy to trim to fit and install on glass door. June 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great price Works well and keeps the water in. The best deal was to get it here and get free shipping. May 24, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by shower door sweep 3/8 in. glass The sweep is more than 3/8 in wide and did not fit on my glass door. I had to get some clear sealant to hold it in-place. The gap is closer to 5/8 in wide! Not happy with this! April 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Did what it was supposed to do... seal works as intended & easy to install...just measure/cut...BOOM! April 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clear Bottom Trim Rail Found this trim piece after the one in our master shower got broken during cleaning. This appears to be the exact same profile as the one that came with our shower glass kit. It is made of strong polycarbonate and fit exactly, slipping over the bottom of the glass door and sliding into place. Be sure to measure the thickness of your glass so you can purchase the correct one. I had to cut it with a dremel tool because the utility knife wasn't doing very well. Very happy with this trim piece. April 13, 2016
