I am usually very fair when it comes to reviewing products, but I was very unhappy with the performance of these rollers. I thought I would try them since they were ~$3 cheaper than the Purdy 3/8" rollers, but that was my first mistake. These rollers often obsorbed more paint then they put on the walls. I also experienced a lot of the polyester in the paint as I looked at the tray. After using 2 of the rollers from the pack I threw the third one away, went back to Home Depot and got a 3 pack of the Purdy White Dove 3/8" rollers to finish my job.
Spend the couple extra bucks and get a product that won't frustrate you as you work with it.

The paint stays on the rollers and evenly distributes the paint over the walls. These rollers do not leave fuzz in the finish like some that I have used. I did not have an issue with a dripping problem when applying nor an uneven coverage. You can't go wrong with using these rollers for receiving a great even coverage without the mess you sometimes experience with other brands.

I got these to hopefully make painting my ceiling a bit quicker. The coverage was good, but not 100% as pictured, I still had some unevenness with the rolling action. Still it seems to have covered the areas way better then the other roller I was using. It splattered, but not bad, this could be from me loading the roller up too much maybe. I guess painting the ceiling is just a pain no matter what, but over all I'd say this is a good roller cover, more suited to walls. They do make a roller more for walls and ceilings, but this package didn't state that. It also seems that no matter what paint I use, it's gonna take 2 coats. Is paint being formulated differently now? It seemed so much easier to paint a room in one coat 10 or so years ago.

I purchased the 3 pack and have only used one. These are awful! I have been painting the same wall for about an hour because the roller cover will NOT stay on the roller!! I am constantly having to push it back on. It is irritating to the point that mid-painting I sat it down and came down stairs to write the company my complaint. I am not one to ever write a review, But I hope I can prevent the next person from making the same mistake as I have. as the last review said... they drink the paint and you are constantly going back to the tray only to paint a 2 foot line each time... I would have given a negative star if possible

I really liked these roller covers. They lay down a smooth even coverage. I had no problem with fibers in my paint. They cleaned up nicely. They stayed on the roller. They were no more paint absorbent than any other roller I've used. I would recommend them.

I had a 12x14 room to paint (walls and vaulted ceiling) and by the third wall these things were sliding all over the place and not putting the paint on the walls properly. The previous coats of primer (on new drywall) never gave me this kind of problem, but when I started with these rollers, I could tell the difference. They might have been okay if I only had to do a couple of walls, but once they were saturated they were toast.
I'm going back to the White Dove rollers - they really are worth the money, especially if you're doing a large area.
