Product Overview

Siemens introduces PL Series Load Centers - a new high quality and feature-rich line of load center products to meet applications for virtually every need. The PL Series load center provides maximum flexibility in combination with labor saving features to aid the contractor while installing the product. PL load centers feature the patented insta-wire neutral/ground system, convertibility, copper bussing, and mounting tabs on the trim - these features were specifically engineered to decrease installation time and increase flexibility.

  • Single phase 200 Amp main breaker load center with 20 spaces/40 circuits
  • Features Siemens patented insta-wire technology which allows for quick and easy installation because screws are already backed out, ready for wire insertion on ground and neutral bars
  • Copper bus
  • All devices are provided with 2 factory installed ground bars
  • Combination head screw on the neutrals, ground, trim, upper pan, and bond screw provide installation flexibility
  • All PL series devices convertible from main lug to main breaker and vice versa
  • Mounting tabs on the trim hold the load center in place freeing up both hands to drive the trim screws

What single pole 15 and 20 amp gfi breakers and ground/arc fault breakers will fit this panel ?

Hi Ross, The GFCI circuit breakers you would need for this panel would be Siemens type QPF2. The 15 Amp is part US2:QF115AP and the 20 Amp is US2:QF120AP which you can find here:

Expand to 40 circuits?

What breaker(s) model numbers are used to make the panel expand the capability of having 40 circuits with only only 20 spaces/slots? Are we are talking about using a one pole breaker that serves two circuits from that single pole? If so are there designated slots for the single pole two circuit breakers?

Hi cimbalom55, This panel would have slots at the bottom half of the panel that has notched bus tabs that accept tandem circuit breakers (two single pole breakers in a 1 inch breaker frame). These notched tabs would accept Siemens type QT tandem circuit breakers, here is an example of a 20 amp tandem:
