Fits my Siemens panel perfectly. I verified with Siemens with my panel number. Works perfectly! Looks better and costs less than the aftermarket products available. Only downside is that is that it must be located on 2 breakers on the top left side of the panel and uses the spaces of 2 breakers on the top right side. The spaces for 2 top right breakers must be empty. Had to relocate the existing top right breakers. I was able to cover the 2 empty right side slots with standard plastic slot covers slightly modified. As a homeowner I installed easily. Good instructions. Important: Feed wires to the 2 generator breakers must be affixed before the interlock is installed over the breakers. Interlock blocks access to the feed wire connections.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by chasteph Quick install
This product dose the job and is easy to install, however it is poorly designed and causes you to loose two additional breaker spaces more than just the two used for the generator, and partially covers their spaces so that breaker filler plates will not fit, you must screw a piece of metal to cover their openings, unless you have never used the 4 spaces next to the main circuit breaker

No problem with this interlock, fits and works well. Did not have to alter the panel cover as I've seen mentioned. The only thing I had to alter were the plastic fillers that fit over the blank hole next to the interlock where there were two breakers that I had to move.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by ahd505 Easy and inexpensive alternative to seperate transfer switch!
After much research I found this product. I live in an area that frequently loses power and have wanted something like this for a long time. I found a lot of reviews on this product. It is true, the product hangs into breaker 2 and 4, so you will have to move them. Luckily I had plenty of room to do so. I just need to get a couple of covers to replace the temporary duct tape. I found that I did not need to alter the panel cover as mentioned in some reviews. If you turn off both breakers and move the slides, you can put cover on without altering it first. The next step is to test it with a generator, but see no issues with it working. Overall a reasonably priced, easy install alternative to putting in a seperate transfer switch.

I fail to read the review... YES , YOU LOOSE THE 2&4 CIRCUIT BREAKER SPACES....
They should say in the installations instructions about not installing any breakers in the 2 and 4 space....
No really happy!!!
