Answer:
Due to the many different manufacturers and models of travel trailers, the best way to figure out the appropriate tarp size for a travel trailer is to actually measure the trailer yourself. Also you need to determine how many feet side drop of tarp to drape down on each side. The side drop dimension is trailer specific too.

I bought this tarp to cover a 17' cargo trailer. I have gone through several and the Texas summer sun has destroyed them in two seasons (only use cover in summer). I bought this one from Home Depot recently and it is on the trailer as I write this. It hasn't been on long enough for me to know if it will stand up any better. I do like it because it has more eyelets than any other tarp I have had making tie-down easier. The quality seems to be very good. As far as using it on an RV, I think it will protect very well but as opposed to a purpose built RV cover, it will not "breathe" and will thus trap any moisture on the trailer. In Texas summer, that is not an issue but might be where you are. It may also slightly mar the finish on the RV skin due to abrasion as the wind moves it. When the wind blows It will ripple down the sides like a flag. Where it touches the finish it can abrade it. I have not been able to tie one tight enough to prevent the "ripple". On the other hand, RV covers are several times more expensive (I have looked) and I do not know if they last longer or not. Hope this helps answer your question. Read Less
