Can I use this type to cover a hhole in the roof until it is repaired.....for about 2 weeks??

Asked by: jee
This tarp is very lightweight. I don't think it would be heavy enough to put on a roof.

will it cover chairs in photo

Asked by: Blaze
Not sure what you were asking exactly. If you were asking whether the Sigman 5 ft. x 7 ft. Blue Tarp can cover chairs in a photo shoot, the answer is probably yes. However, the blue tarp will show up in the photo if the tarp is in the picture framing.

Customer Reviews

5 ft. x 7 ft. Blue Tarp is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Useful Product and Can't Beat the Price The price for the tarps are great (very inexpensive; a little over $2.00/ea). We have many uses for the tarps (using them for camping and boating purposes, and using them at the beach to lay towels and bags on). We also use the tarps on one side of our screened in pool enclosure to protect us from sun and wind. So I would recommend this product to anyone who has many uses for tarps and are looking for a great value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You cannot go wrong About $2.60 delivered to my local HD, this little tarp has been used only a few times so far this winter under my snow blower when I load it into the back of my van. The tarp is waterproof, requirement 1, and, so far, proves to be quite substantial so it appears it will last for a long time, requirement 2. Even if it only lasts a couple of years (with added use to protect the van during spring and summer hauling duties), at $2.60 replacing it every so many years still seems to make it a bargain. I'm probably going to buy a few more for the trunk of my car folded under the golf clubs/cart and winter skis and give a couple to my son for his cars.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cheap and useful I bought these to make a temporary fence with some t posts planted in 5 gallon homer buckets filled with dirt and weighed down with 6 cinder blocks each. They were fine- for like a day. Then the wind picked up and knocked some down. Put them back up and some fell again or ripped right at the grommets(Attached with zip ties) after several days. So not really good for making a fence unless you attach them to a wood frame-otherwise they just act as huge wind sails(Hey maybe you could use some as an emergency/spare sail on your sailboat!) But that said they are cheap(price went up by .33 cents, oh well) and the best bargain I could find so experimenting with it's various uses will not be a huge gamble. I keep on buying them when needed, so yeah( Wow, can't believe I wrote all this for a tarp. I need a hobby.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A very handy little tarp. I have a lot of pine trees in my yard. Therefore, I have a lot of pine straw to rake up. I usually put the straw in a trailer and carry it to a relative who needs it for her yard. This little tarp is very light weight and easy for me to cover that straw in the trailer so it won't blow out when I'm driving and pulling my little trailer. It is sufficient for what I use it for, and the price was right for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dont waste your money If you live anywhere where desert wind blows dont waste your money Spend more on tarps. I bought 17 of these to cover my fenced yard...most of them have torn apart (within days), at the silver rings. The rings completely seperated from the tarp. Not sturdy whatsoever I expected better even for the price. Waste...highly dissapointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does The Job I use this tarp to cover a 4x6 skylight. The skylight is not tinted, so the tarp blocks some of the brightness from coming in. It's overall thickness is in the medium range. The only negative is this size tarp is not sold at my local Home Depot, but I ordered online and it was shipped to HD for customer pickup.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ok for the price I got this to hang off an easy up and didn't want to spend a lot of $. I ordered 3. They came in earlier than expected and we're OK for the price. Kinda on the thin side. I would buy a much nicer one if you really needed a sturdy tarp. But for me just hanging it up it worked great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap gate cover For a gardener this may work...but for a gate cover its terrible. I got 17 of them and all of the ones that i put up have ripped at the metal loop. Very weak...which explains the price.
