Answer:
I assume the bike's exact dimensions are 62" long, 38" tall, & 29.5" wide. If you don't need the tarp to cover it in every direction, like say leaving the front and back exposed, then the tarp just need to be as long as your bike (62") and as wide as the width plus 2 times the height [given my assumptions thats 29.5+(2x38) = 105.5"] This is a rough estimate, since a bike doesn't conform exactly to it's Read More

You'd probably need something 6' x 9' (or 7' x 9' in order to close the front and back). Read Less

Answer:
If you want to cover the size of the bike you stated from top to bottom, I would say NO, a 5x7 would not work. If you want to cover the top part and anchor (bungee cords ?) the tarp to the bike, it should work.

Answer:
Assuming the dimension given is 62 in (L) x 29.5 (W) x 38 (Height), a 5 ft. x 7 ft. tarp is not large enough if you want the tarp to drape down on the side for full 38 inches. To fully cover the bike including the sides, you need to have a minimum length of 38 + 62 + 38 = 138 inches and a minimum width of 38 + 29.5 + 38 = 105.5 inches. Translating to feet, you will need a tarp of approximate size of 12 Read More

If you don't need the tarp to fully drape all the way down on the sides, you might want to try a slightly smaller size such as 10 ft x 8 ft.
BTW, when selecting a tarp, try to use a heavy duty tarp if possible. In general a heavy duty tarp is stronger and has better UV resistance. Read Less

I want to use them as curtains in my new screened porch. I understand they aren't going to 'water/wind/cold proof' from our brutal winters, but I think they would be aesthetically pleasing and more affordable than outdoor curtains made with Sunbrella fabric.
Thanks.

Answer:
Sigman 6 ft. x 8 ft. White Heavy Duty Tarp has woven reinforced polyethylene plastic fabric. Most paints do not work well with polyethylene fabric. Please consult an art supply store to see which type of paints might work.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 14 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good looking tarp Got this to cover my pool heat pump while away. Better looking than most and seems to be good quality. The expensive custom heat pump covers did not get good reviews for durability. I hope this inexpensive tarp will hold up to the Florida summer sun. July 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Good! Thick material, bright white. Almost too nice to get dirty. Some tarps have loosely woven strands, not this one! The grommets are aluminum (no rust) and the seams are thick with reinforced corners. Yay! May 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Used to cover RV tires An economical way to cover tires of stored RV 5th wheel. March 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Makes a good outdoor video screen. Used as an outdoor video screen. Made frame out of PVC pipe. Worked well while camping at the lake. The tarp is heavy duty and should last. July 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great inexpensive tarp I'm very pleased with this tarp. It has good quality grommets all the way around, and even came with an 'extra' in the packaging. I'm using this tarp as a sun-shade on my balcony. (see photos) July 16, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for my need These are very nice weight tarps with grommets on all four sides. Nice consistent color and easy to work with. I used them to wrap around a platform for a Nativity display and they worked great. They'll last for years. December 23, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Truly heavy duty! This tarp is well built. The tarp material itself is tough and stiff. The grommets are solid and the edge stitching is sturdy. I imagine this trap could be out in the elements for quite a long time before showing any wear. If you need a tough tarp this will do you. If you need some flexibility, you may want to look elsewhere. July 22, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A good purchase for what I needed. I purchased this white tarp to use as an outdoor movie screen. It was the perfect size for where I wanted it and worked well. I had to order it on line and was very happy that it didn't take long to come to the store for pick up. Thank you Home Depot. September 2, 2014
