Would this work to secure a plastic/vinyl laminate flooring T-molding track to a concrete floor ?...

Would this work to secure a plastic/vinyl laminate flooring T-molding track to a concrete floor ? Don't want to worry about it coming loose but if it would work, less effort than drilling/installing anchors to screw into. Thanks

Hello and thank you for your question. It would not be recommended for that application.

Hello and thank you for your question. Yes it can be sanded after a full cure. A full cure is 5 to 7 days after it has been applied.

Hi! I'd like to use this to glue on an inset frame on the back of a piece of AlumaComp (it's sort of like DiBond). it needs to support (and it will be the only support) of a 25 pound piece of artwork, that will be hanging on a wall. Can it hold that for an infinite amount of time? The bond will be either be steel to the panel, or aluminum. I found a picture online that shows what I am trying to do. Thank you!
Asked by: sm
Hello and thank you for your question. We have not test the bond to AlumaComp or DiBond. You may want to see if it has bond by applying a bead of adhesive on the surface. Allow it to fully cure (3 to 5 days) and pull the adhesive, if it has adhesion failure, it would not be recommended.

The first 29oz cartridge I purchased was out of date by over a year, so I didn't use and returned it to the store and exchanged for one that is due to expire in November 2017, problem is the replacement is extremely viscous and just crawls out of the nozzle. Don't know if that is normal but other similar products flow very freely. Bonded a partial concrete paver/block wall and am nervous that I may have a bad product!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Difficult to Work With I bought a tube with an expiration date of Feb 17, 2017. It was extremely difficult to get it out of the tube and the consistency was very thick. We shall see if it works as intended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Stuff This is an amazing adhesive. It remains flexible, and holds materials extremely well. (The guy who reviewed this before me doesn't realize polyurethane doesn't work on vinyl/rubber materials - so his comment is irrelevant.) I used this in the boating industry, it is highly regarded by boat manufacturers and car manufacturers. If only people knew the technology sitting on the shelf at their local Home Depot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Had makes my life easy. This was the first time I built a retaining wall and I wasn't confident about gluing concrete together. This product was easy to use and did an amazing job. I later added a cap and it is still locked tight like it is welded.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Construction Adhesive I know! This is the best Adhesive for Metal, Glass, Plastic. But you can't use ist on wood and you got to know how you do it. I used it the last decade in a Window manufaturing company in Germany.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Convenient size Perfectly packaged for the DIYer. Easily used in a caulk gun with minimal mess. Dries in a day but still leaves some time for "adjustment" in brick placement until dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used to bond aluminum corner to Hardy Fiber-Cement board. I had rot in the corner of my double-wide trailer. After tear out and replacement I used Hardy fiber cement material on all four corners. I caped it with 8' x 1" Aluminum corner material. I used Sika because it will expand since the Aluminum EXPANDS in heat and I didn't want an adhesive that would let go. Now about a year later it still keeps its cement bond between aluminum and Hardy Fiber-Cement material. I thinks this is great stuff if you observe what materials to use it on and carefully READ and follow directions. For example I used tape to hold the aluminum in place for at least two days( to allow Sika to fully cure) or more before I removed the tape holding the Aluminum up was removed. .
