what price group does Silestone Stellar Cream fall into?

what price group does Silestone Stellar Cream fall into?
Asked by: Wendy
Hi Wendy, you would need to contact your local store for "Price group" information as it can vary depending on the region. For example for the Mid South Stellar Cream falls into Group C which would start at $60 per square feet for installation. Hope this helps! We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future. Thank you for shopping Home Depot!

Customer Reviews

2 in. x 4 in. Quartz Countertop Sample in Stellar Cream is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible product Only have had this product for 2 years and the surface is deteriorating. Surface is rough. I was not told this would happen. People that issued the warranty said this is "normal" and part of its charm. Who in their right mind would find a rough countertop charming. So much for a warranty!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very oretty Not much color variation so a 4 inch square is enough to see how it looks with your cabinets. Very pretty with the recycled glass chips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mesmerizing Countertops! My wife and I were upgrading our kitchen and when it came time to discuss countertops, she said she wanted Quartz. We had granite in our old house but she told me you never have to seal Quartz so I was all for that. We had shopped around for a few months and decided to go into Home Depot to see their selection and Silestone Stellar Cream was a new product they were advertising and we fell in love with it. We called some of the other places we had been too and Home Depot's price was the lowest by a significant amount. Now the bad news.. when it came time to deal with Colonial Marble & Granite (the company Home Depot contracts the job out to), it was a nightmare! They have no communication what-so-ever (unless Home Depot calls them numerous times just to get one simple answer out of them), they are ignorant, disrespectful, you name it! If it weren't for Home Depot dealing with them directly instead of us having to do it, we would of canceled our purchase the 1st time we interacted with them; even the Home Depot employee got extremely frustrated with trying to talk to them. I Googled the company a few days after the purchase and read some awfully bad reviews so we were very nervous all the way up to install and afraid that they were going to screw something up. The guy they sent out to do our template was a complete joke. He looked like he hadn't showered in a week and when he came in, he didn't lay anything down to cover our hardwood floors and he tracked snow all into our house. I cannot STAND when people come into my house and do not take their shoes off! Have the common courtesy, be respectful, and take your shoes off when walking into another persons home. As he was making the template, EVERY SINGLE question we asked him.. "I don't know.. I don't know.. I don't know.." My god! You do this job everyday and don't have a clue about anything! My wife got so fed up with him that she just went into the living room and watched TV. We were surprised he could actually put the template together. Then we waited for 2 weeks.. On installation day, the installers had much better communication than the people in the back-office. Even though they called, they were still almost an hour late, which we didn't really care though because we knew they were coming from another install. When they arrived, I look out the window and what do I see? Multiple customers slabs laying in the back of a pick up truck! Are you kidding me!? Slabs of stone should be completely enclosed when being transported. There were 3 installers and thankfully, they were respectful and put material down to cover our floors. As soon as they brought in our bar top, we noticed it had a film covering it. I guess to them, that is enough protection if something were to fly up and hit it during transport. The only other thing I liked about them was how quick they worked. Our kitchen is not that big so they only had 4 pieces to bring in. I have to hand it to them though; I know it was a pain lugging those slabs up the stairs (our kitchen is on the 2nd floor) but I took the railings off for them to make it a little easier to maneuver. After they had the stone in place, the one installer told us he put extra support brackets for our sink but the way he said it made it seem like he was doing something extra for us but they should of did that regardless since the sink is monstrous. I tried to refrain from asking any questions but I ended up asking one.. "do you think the new garbage disposal will fit with no problem since the sink is so big?" I got the typical smart alec response I thought I would.. shoulders shrugged "I don't know, ask the plumber." After they were done, they asked us to take a survey on how they did and rate them 1 - 10. While I was taking the survey, he's standing right there watching me (very uncomfortable). Yeah, like that survey has any impact on how that company does business! Give me a break! Finally the worst is over.. or so we think. We notice they didn't caulk around any of the areas; only thing they did was put adhesive on the underside to hold it to the cabinets. Now what if we weren't handy and didn't know how to caulk? At least the company we got the granite from a long time ago did all of that for us and for as much money as people pay for countertops, you would think all the little finishing touches would be included (not so). A day later I was walking up the stairs and noticed they took a nice chunk out of one of the stair noses and neglected to tell us. Now I have to spend time and money repairing that. I finally finished all the caulking and did the finishing touches and I have to say, we absolutely LOVE these countertops! When you walk by them, they just glisten like diamonds and they are so easy to clean with just soap and water. My wife was cooking one night and she told me to get one of the hot pans off of the stove and I set it down on the Quartz not even thinking and it did nothing to it. Even though it's heat resistant, I do not like setting hot objects down on it but the one time I did, it passed the durability challenge. All and all, would we do this all over again even though dealing with Colonial was a complete migraine!? Absolutely! Only because Home Depot did a tremendous job taking care of them for us. If we didn't have Home Depot to deal with Colonial, I don't think we would have been able to hang in there.. we would of went insane but everything turned out great and we are grateful for the outcome. I have some photos but listen when I say photos do not do these countertops any justice. They look 90% better in person but I did my best to try and capture some of the reflection to it.
