Answer:
Yes, this fence does have gates that go with it. You can find them on homedepot.com by searching "SimTek Gate". You should also know that the gate purchase includes all the necessary hardware (hinges, latch, and striker rod). You will also need to purchase (1) gate post for each gate you buy. This gate post will be a required part of the installation of the gate.

How would the Stone Panels look with a different color for the Panel Post?

This question is from 6 ft. H x 6 ft. W EcoStone Gray Composite Fence Panel

How would the Stone Panels look with a different colored Panel Post?
For example: All of the Panels would be Dark Grey attached to either all Tan or all Brown Posts?
Has anyone installed something like this?
Another idea I'm curious about is the visual appearance of all stone panels with a gate installed (from the same company) BUT the attached gate would be the faux wooden vertical planking design.
My reason being I've never seen a swinging gate made out of heavy stones. Real stone walls have gates made from either Iron or Wood, with hinges attached to the stone walls on opposite sides.
using this method would add more realism having the faux wooden Vertical Hinged gate attached to the stone panels (walls).
If anyone has used this kind of a layout, please post some pix's on this page so we may get a better visual feel of the end result.

Answer:
Many people have installed SimTek with different colored posts and panels (see attachment). I haven't seen anyone attempt to mix the Ashland (the "faux wooden vertical planking design") gate with the Ecostone but both fences are installed the same way and can be interchanged between the two.

We'd LOVE this fence (in GRAY ) installed on our property (in Portland, OR) to replace our old wooden fence (about 250 feet) . Who to call to install for us here in Portland Oregon? Home Depot website referred me to contact Pro Fence Solutions out of Vancouver, WA, but have not heard back from them. Trying so hard to find a trusted, professional fencing contractor to install THIS type of fence around our property, but not getting any help here. PLEASE advise. Also waiting to see if Superior Fencing can do this (we've used them before) but they haven't called or emailed back. PLEASE can someone let me know a list of names in Portland, Oregon that CAN install this type of fence as well as remove our old wooden fence. Please help!

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 37 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Dissappointed in Sound Proofing Claims The panels and posts arrived in good condition. Installed they look really nice, however, the main reason I ordered this particular type of fence was for the soundproofing claims. I live on a noisy main road and was hoping that they would provide better sound reduction. I didn't notice much difference at all. For the privacy and look of the fence, I would recommend this to someone that has minimal noise issues. If sound reduction is your main reason for purchasing this, I would not suggest it. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful fence! This fence is replacing the decorative cinder block privacy wall between my neighbors house and mine. I absolutely could not be more thrilled with the new wall! It looks just fantastic and seems very sturdy. I did not install it myself, a friend did so, but he had no complaints about installation. I would recommend this product 100%! It's certainly not cheap, but then I didn't want something that looked cheap, either. It looks very classy and classic. April 30, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good product. Fence panels and posts look really good! Solid support. Hope it lasts as long as the warranty states - 25 years! October 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quality Product This is my second order of this product. The fence panels I installed two years ago have weathered well--still look like new. Product is easy to assemble if setting posts was properly done according to clear instructions. September 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks Great The finished product brings a functional esthetic to our back yard. We needed privacy and help with limiting the noise of a neighbor's pool filter, this product fits the bill nicely. June 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This is a good-looking fence. This is not an inexpensive fence. I spent about $7500 to replace that awful wooden fence in the backyard. That being said, I shouldn't have to worry about this sucker for the length of the 25 year guarantee (at that point, I won't care). I have never installed a fence before, but by watching the mfgr's videos and only doing a few posts at a time (generally before breakfast - it gets hot here in Florida) - it turned out really well. If you use a string to keep things in line and a level to make sure the post points straight up, and you should be OK. For some reason, the post level that I bought for the job didn't work very well - I think that the steel-reinforced foam posts vary a little in spots. A regular 24" level got the job done. I used between two and three bags of concrete in each hand-dug hole, mixing it in a wheelbarrow first (we have hurricanes occasionally) and I feel confident that this fence should hold together. Everyone that has seen it compliments me on the looks. The gates are stupid expensive (I bought three of them), but they're rugged and have plenty of adjustment. I also like that you can adjust the panel height if necessary after the posts are in. We had to do that on a couple of panels. All in all, if you're careful when you assemble it, you should have a beautiful fence that'll last a long time. June 30, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Ever Very easy to assemble, very low maintenance. It looks beautiful and very private, I purchased several last year for the patio behind my house. I loved it so much I purchased several more for my other patio. I wouldn't trade it for nothing. April 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by We love our new "wall"! We are very pleased with our Simtek purchase. The panels are very sturdy and will last a long time. I highly recommend this product! June 29, 2014
