i must not be using these correctly. Since there is a "gap"or a space difference between the drywall and stud....i have found it harder to keep this spacers in place while I work on the opposing side of the wall???

Does not work - waste of money. Wrong thickness no matter how you align. Trim ends work 100% better.

These spacers made installation of the flooring easier. I ordered 2 boxes not realizing that you remove them after the floor is in. I really only needed about a half a box for the size of the rooms I am doing. Even so, If you are "creative," you can get by with less. Some of the spacers are sold in "kits" that have install tools. I don't think it's really necessary. You can buy a rummer mallet and a small, flat pry bar for less. Those and a piece of scrap flooring will do the trick.

This made our living room remodel go twice as fast and very smooth. I am so glad we got it. Now I can't wait to do the next room with laminate flooring.

The spacers make it easy to ensure correct space against walls for expansion of flooring

The spacers are useless against a sheet rock wall. The space from the floor to the bottom of the sheet rock allows the spacers to topple over at the slightest movement. I solved the problem by getting rid of the spacers and replacing them with solid 4" high strips of 1/4" plywood running the lengths of 2 walls. Worked perfect!
