I am extremely pleased with this media unit. It is wood and not particle board and is sturdy and well made .the drawers glide amazingly well! . It has good storage. I can put VCR tapes, CDs in one side and 33 rpms on the other. It is medium brown. It does takes two people a couple of hours to assemble.
Good looking shaker style that fits with any décor.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by elvis4u EXCELLENT Product!!
Excellent Product! Always a little leary of ordering from a picture on-line, but this was all it was promised to be and more. And the price was (on average) about $200 less than similar items at local furniture stores.
Well made, thought out and engineered. The fact that it is real, solid wood from top to bottom is really impressive. Assembly was really pretty easy if you're a "handy" person.
Color and wood finish were much more impressive than expected from an assemble-yourself piece of furniture. No paritcle board, cardboard or veneer. All solid hard wood!
I would definitely recommend this product and would not hesitate to buy another item from this manufacturer!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by kalododu Nice for what we are using it for
Looks very nice when all put together. Real wood, light scratches on the top surface. Not worth lugging back to the store since the t..v. sits on top anyway. A little annoying that everything did not easily line up when putting it together, but that happens most of time with put it together yourself furniture. Home Depot had the best price.

Nice, solid wood furniture looks very nice ... ONCE you have assembled it. It will take you a while and the instructions are mostly good, though a little more detail would have helped.
One of the screws had a manufacturer defect and one of the front doors had some chipping on an edge. The good news is, is that I contacted their customer support e-mail and they shipped me replacement parts, no questions asked (didn't even need to show proof pf purchase!). Good customer service. Only thing I had trouble with was the front two doors. Despite putting the screws where the pre-drilled holes were, they still don't quite fit perfectly into the cabinet. I mean, they work okay, but they are a little tight when you open and close them. So I loosened the screws a little where the hinges are and it's a little better.
BEST ADVICE - don't screw anything in tight until you are sure everything is in the right place. Overall, a nice unit, with a pleasant honey-colored stain and plenty of storage room.

Assembly directions were clear and in English. It did take a couple of hours to assemble, but the finished product is beautiful and well built. VERY STURDY! Made with real wood and strong hardware. I'm going to update my living room with the rest of the Warm Shaker collection. Way to go Simpli Home!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Spinncycle10 pain to assemble but wonderful once done
I had read many reviews and was prepared for assembly problems.
The piece labeling was not identified well. I didn't know if "left" meant my left or the finished product's left. So, I was nearly finished assembling (the first time) when it became apparent that I had guessed the wrong "left".
The finished product is very nice looking. The wood is beautiful. Be patient and be prepared to disassemble. In my opinion, the finished product is worth the temporary assembly frustration. Had the assembly been more forthright, I would have given the product and the value higher ratings.
