Hello I have a 43 inch opening. Do you have filler trim in white to match? If so what is the part# and cost? Thanks Richard Ress

Can the depth be reduced?

Asked by: Ladybug
Yes, pretty easily. The drawer slides are mounted to the sides and do not extend to the back of the vanity. You could probably reduce the depth by about 4-5" without difficulty. This would require removing and relocating the back support structure but that is easily removed and relocated with a screw driver. Should be an easy job, even for a novice DIYer.

How wide is the left side draw ?

I have a shut off vavle 11 1/2 inches from the wall, will it clear it ?
Asked by: Gene
Your valve will not clear it without notching out the vertical member (which is possible since there is 4-5" space behind the drawers). The vertical structure that supports the drawers is about 1/2" in width, centered on a point almost exactly 11 3/4" from the side of the vanity- meaning the main inside cavity of the vanity (where the plumbing usually runs) begins right at 12" from the edge. Both sides are the same for the 42" vanity. The 30" vanity is also the same- main cavity begins 12" from the drawer side. For both vanities, I would use at least 13" from the side of the vanity to be safe. Also, the center cavity shelf height is adjustable but it sits about 14 1/2" up from the floor- you can go higher but if you go lower you will run into the lower drawer. If your valve is LESS than about 11" from the wall it could be located behind the drawers and you could notch out for the faucet feed to run through the vertical member. You'd have to remove the drawer to shut off the water but that is no big deal. There is about 4-5" depth behind the drawers so there is adequate room to do this. Unfortunately for you, your plumbing feed is almost exactly in the wrong place. You will have to move the plumbing feed or notch out the vertical member to the point where you could run the plumbing feed into the vanity (this should not be a big deal as it will not compromise the vanity structure and it will be out of sight). This probably won't affect your job, but for other readers: For the drawers specifically the drawer face is just over 11" in width. The inside width of the drawer is 8 1/8". The outside of the drawer itself is 9 1/2" (not counting the drawer slides which are mounted on the sides of the drawer.

On my installation the cabinet beneath the sink is useless because I could not use the shelf provided, even when set to the lowest setting. The drain from the sink and water connection's use that space. The pull out drawer in the bottom center is the only under sink storage and can't be used for tall items. If you can store your tall stuff elsewhere this vanity is perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Main Bath remodel The item was installed by a contractor only thing was there wasn't a back panel. The contractor installed a panel in the area for the center where the doors open at the sink. Looks great and the assembly was great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad Looks good, no issues upon delivery, I would purchase again. My only disappointment was that for the price I would have expected or wished it was comprised of more real wood than composite material than it had.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking for! First off, finding a 42" white vanity with several drawers is next to impossible. I found this on HD web site and after searching for other options, I decided on this one. It had everything I wanted but there was no top included. I ordered the countertop and under mount sink at the same time as the vanity and all items were delivered to the store without any damage and in a timely manner. This vanity cabinet was part of a complete bathroom makeover and after lots of hard work, our bathroom is exactly what I imagined. Thank you Home Depot for having the hard to find item I needed and at a reasonable price. I've included some before and after photos that show off my new vanity in all it's black and white drama!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Vanity with Plenty of Storage The vanity arrived in a great condition and ready to be placed in. I mainly bought it because of the 42-inch width and of course storage. It fit fabulously in the guest bathroom's wall to wall space. I was really skeptical because it was a little bit more than I was willing to pay but now I do not regret it. The quality really impressed me and storage is plentiful. I also liked the height. It's at a very comfortable adult height. Little children definitely need a step/stool to wash their hands. I would recommend it if it satisfies your style and budget.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from well made and good looking vanity Hard to find a 42 inch vanity. Am well pleased with this one. The construction and quality of the vanity is great, and it looks beautiful in my bathroom. Am very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend. On another note, bought this vanity once before which was delivered a few days before Hurricane Sandy. The vanity was destroyed when my house got flooded. When I called Home Depot not only did they offer me a discount on the repurchase, but they also credited my account for the 1st one based on their 90 day product guarantee. I didn't even ask about this; they told me! Based on this outstanding customer service I would not only recommend Home Depot overall, but would definitely look to purchase from them again. Outstanding and compassionate service. Fantastic!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of storage in a quality piece I bought this because of all the drawers and the central doors. I am very pleased with the quality of construction, the ease of operation, and the fit and finish. Removing the drawers is very easy and with them out, the carcass is light enough for one man (me) to lift into position. The only drawback on my corner installation was the need to add a trim piece to the right drawer side to allow room for the drawers to slide past the doorway trim. Luckily the prefinished door stop trim in the depot was an exact match to the vanity finish and was just the right thickness to provide the space I needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Vanity Cabinet I wanted a vanity cabinet with more storage drawers than the one I had but I had only limited space-42 inches. The cabinet was installed in my bathroom with a quartz vanity top and is a beautiful make-over for my bathroom. I added a new commode, new mirror and now I have ample room to store the things I need without tucking things with the plumbing.
