I bought these tiles several years ago with the intention of using them for something else but mever ended up using them for what I purchased them for, so they sat in the garage for years. When we got a second rescue dog a year ago she destroyed our rather expensive living room area rug in short order. I had forgotten about these tiles by then and we went about 8 months without a rug on the living room floor because we could not get it clean. When I cleaned the garage a few weeks ago I found the tiles and the light bulb went off...why not use these for an area rug? That way, if the dogs make a mess all I have to do is peel up the tile that is damaged and replace it. It's a lot more cost effective in a house with two large dogs, and it looks pretty nice. I have conceded that I will see the edges and that it will shed some, but it's a lot less costly to replace a tile or two than to buy a whole mew rug every time we can get the stain or smell out of the rug.

I bought both Milk and Cookies and Toffee . The Toffee looks very good but the Milk and Cookies showed every seam and looks awful. I am now ordering in the Toffee to replace this one.
I think Milk and Cookies just doesn't have enough variation in color to allow it to blend.

This product is a great value. We replaced the carpet in two bedrooms with these tiles, and we still love it. It's got a nice pile to it, which gives our home a more modern feel. The absolute best part of this product was how easy it was to install. It took only about two hours to go from very start to finish.
Most of the lines are completely invisible. There have only been a couple places where I still see the tile. I have no idea if I still see it just because I know it's there though.
At the end of the day, I found myself recommending this product to my family and friends. Even my father-in-law was impressed--making this product pass the ultimate test!

I really like this product. It was very easy to install. The hard part was the removal of the old carpet. The padding surprised me it was a good cushion of padding. I would have given this 5 star but for 2 reason I didn't. 1- the carpet is not very sticky, once you put it down and try to pull it up to adjust there is a good chance you will have no more sticky back. You might have to use a different piece of tile, so measure twice. 2- There arrows on the back showing you how to place the squares to get a good fiber flow are not always accurate. I have areas that are perfect fit and other areas that you can see it is carpet squares tile. I had to adjust the carpet differently in some areas were it would match the fiber flow better. I did a room that was about 190 square feet and I used 5 boxes with 3 tiles to spare. I did have some help with 2 people laying the tile it took 2-3 hours.

We decided to get this carpet based on all of the other great reviews. We found that it was super easy to install and it both looks and feels good. After we installed it we vacuumed it and you could not see any lines. We purchased this for our daughters room as our dog usually sleeps in there. Although our dog is well trained, if she does have an accident the entire carpet won't be ruined. We plan on replacing this in a year for hardwood but for now and for the price these carpet tiles can't be beat.

This carpet is fun for the do-it-yourselfer like me. The only concerns are; mine had a lot of hard (melted carpet like) balls matted into the edges of the carpet that I had to cut off. Another, the name and picture led me to believe it was specked..it's not. The padding isn't great, but much nicer than cement. I checker patterned this with one of the darker carpets and it looks great. Things I would recommend are: plenty of sharp blades, buy a couple extra, and make sure the surface is sealed and clean. Even with the small flaws, I plan to do two more rooms with this.

I wanted a good moderately expensive carpet for a small bedroom, and I have to say I was very pleased with this product. Overall installation wasn't that bad - including moving furniture etc... it took me 5 hours to install & move furniture in and out of the room. Seams are barely noticeable - although can be tough at times to make sure there aren't any threads stuck between tiles -but once you get the hang of that it looks like a much more expensive carpet. Very pleased and would use again as well as recommend to others.
Only real gripe I had (and to be fair - it's not Home Depot's fault) was UPS. They dropped the boxes on my steps in the snow and they got wet - despite me being home - they didn't even try to ring the doorbell or anything.

I will admit after reading some of the other reviews, I was a little apprehensive about ordering this carpet. But, I am so glad that I did! I replaced the carpet in three bedrooms and could not be happier with the final results. There are absolutely NO seams visible. To be fair, I did take time and extra effort to make sure the tiles were perfectly aligned and no fibers were caught in between....but it was worth it. The only thing that would make this (5) stars is if the padding were 3/4" instead of 1/2". I would (and have already) recommend this to others.
