Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So far so good... Installed this over engineered hardwood on the first floor of our house. We had a runner in the hallway that never stayed in place and area rugs in the adjoining rooms. I used the tranquility mountain mist and bought a box of the tranquility toffee color to cut into 3" strips to use as a border. Very easy to install. Like other reviewers have said, you can see seams if you really search for them, but I'm pleased with the overall look. The tackiness of the adhesive seems more than adequate so far. Nothing has moved after a few days of a dog and 2 kid's use. It by no means is "high end" carpeting, but for the price, it looks and feels a lot better than I expected. January 18, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasant Surprise We are planning to sell our home soon. Everyone advised us to keep the old carpet and let the new owner re-decorate, but it was 'icky', and we thought even something inexpensive would be better than the ick factor. So, we looked into carpet tiles. What a pleasant surprise! We like this product so much, we do not intend to go back to 'traditional' pad-and-carpet! January 28, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great product, easy to install. These carpet tiles were a breeze it to install. We use them to finish off an attic bedroom And it was the perfect solution to hide the plywood flooring. Very user-friendly and quick to install. The adhesive backing was sufficient. When we first started placing the tiles I was nervous the adhesive wouldn't hold up. Seems like the longer we let it set, the better it adhered to the plywood. You can barely tell these are tiles and not wall to wall carpeting. We plan to redo the basement flooring using the same tiles. January 20, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Welcome to the 1970's My boyfriend and I purchased a box of these carpet tiles before going ahead and ordering 1,000 sf of it. We decided to use carpet tiles so we could install portions of it at a time without having to move and store all of our furniture in a storage unit. We are very glad we only bought one box - the color is not what we were expecting. The yarn is multiple contrasting colors with shades of beige, dark brown and black. Attached are two pictures. The weight of the carpet seemed adequate for an inexpensive carpet tile and the carpet was quite soft. We are returning the box and will have to re-evaluate our options. Since we did not install it, I did not rate respond to those questions. December 5, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value, Easy Install The carpet looks really nice and have a good foot feel to it. The ease of install is great. The quality is something to be expected at this price point. Really 2 dollars a square foot with the padding. We used a mix match pattern with Rocky Road and they look excellent together. The main body of the rocky road is the speckled color of this one and the opposite is true the other direction. A couple of the squared were slightly off square but we just placed those on the sides where we were going to cut. Initially I thought we were going to need to use a spray adhesive because the stuff on the back does not feel very sticky. But once pressure is applied they are not going anywhere. We tried to pull one up after stepping on it and it started to tear the backing off of the foam before it let go. Overall it is an easy do it your self project with good quality results as long as you take your time to lay them down straight. January 14, 2014
